Up Constitution Avenue and around the Capitol
Summer 1999
Objects of Art and Architecture
Here are pictures taken on a summer day with a disposable camera bought at the Museum of Natural History on the spur of the moment. My trip here has been focused in Maryland, and my trips to the District have mostly been to the DAR library at Constitution Hall for genealogical research. But when Gaia gives you a beautiful day and a little time, ‘tis best to use it wisely.

The following links will take you through the new sculpture garden, next to the fountain at the National Gallery of Art, around the Capitol grounds, then around Capitol Hill to the Library of Congress and the Supreme Court. I hope you enjoy this little tour.
