Pictures for the Barbie Collector's Ring

Note to members of the Barbie Collector's Ring:

If you are linking directly to my pictures and they are now broken, let me explain. I received an email from my old server stating that I was over my limit on something they call "bandwidth". What that means is that to many people were linking my pictures to their sites and causing their system to run slower, nearly 2800 hits a day! They wanted me to pay $310.00 a month!! They actually thought I was a business because of all of the heavy traffic I was receiving. Anyway, I have now uploaded my pictures to Geocities. All I ask is that is you are using the Barbie Collector's Ring logos on your home page to please, please upload them to your own server. From time to time I will be deleting the pictures and uploading new ones to help keep this from happening again. I don't know if Geocities has any kind of rules like my old server did but I'm not going to risk it.

If you are already a member of the BCR and just need the html code (without pictures) for your Barbie page, please go to the following address and type in your site ID and password.
http://www.webring.org/cgi-bin/webring?ring=barbie;edit

If you would like to add the BCR pictures to your html code, please follow instructions #1 - #4 listed below.

Thank You,
Amber

#1 Save a BCR image to your hard drive (right click over image that you wish to save, and chose "Save As or Save Image As".

Note: You may use an image that you created, but it must be related to the Barbie Collector's Ring.

#2 Upload the image from your hard drive (that you just saved), to the internet.

#3 Copy and past the code below, to your main Barbie page.

<!--BEGIN BARBIE COLLECTOR'S RING CODE --> <table border=5 cellpadding=0 cellspacing=5> <tr align=center valign=middle bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <td> <a href="http://www.oocities.org/RodeoDrive/1041/ring.html "target="_parent"> <img src="//_______" border=0></a> </td> <td> <font size=2>This <a href="http://www.oocities.org/RodeoDrive/1041/ring.html"target="_parent"> Barbie Collector's Ring</a> <br>site is owned by <BR><a href="mailto:_____________________________">_____________</a>.<BR> <BR>| <a href="http://www.webring.org/cgi-bin/webring?ring=barbie&id=_____&prev"target="_parent"> Previous</a> | <a href="http://www.webring.org/cgi-bin/webring?ring=barbie&id=_____&random"target="_parent"> Random</a> | <BR>| <a href="http://www.webring.org/cgi-bin/webring?ring=barbie&id=_____&next"target="_parent"> Next Site</a> | <a href="http://www.webring.org/cgi-bin/webring?ring=barbie&id=_____&skip"target="_parent"> Skip Next</a> | <BR>| <a href="http://www.webring.org/cgi-bin/webring?ring=barbie&id=_____&next5"target="_parent"> Next 5</a> | <a HREF="http://www.webring.org/cgi-bin/webring?ring=barbie;list" target="_parent">List Sites</a> | <BR><BR><BR>Do you have a web page <BR>about Barbie? <a href="http://www.oocities.org/RodeoDrive/1041/ring.html "target="_parent"> <BR><BR>Click here</a> to be <BR>a part of this fun web ring. </td> </font></tr> </table> <!--END BARBIE COLLECTOR'S RING-->

#4 After You Apply The HTML Code To Your Main Barbie Page You Must Do The Following:

Replace the blank in the <img src="//_______" border=0></a> with your image. Replace the blank in the <a href="mailto:_____________________________">________________</a> with your email address and the next blank with your site name or your name. Replace the blanks where it says barbie&id=_____& with your site ID number. Do not leave blank spaces within the code, this will prevent it from working properly.

If you have followed the above steps correctly, your code should work properly (providing that you are already a member of the BCR) and it should look something like this....
