Dear Members,

Those of you who were unable to make the BBQ missed a great steak, delicious meal, big raffle, beautiful day and lots of fun. Many thanks to our Chariman Allen Thompson, his committee and all of you who donated the snacks, desserts and prizes for the raffle table.

Our proram Chairman Dianne Klyn received a call from Dr. Bayer, State Dept. of Health (Veterinary Div.), stating he would be unable to be the speaker at our meeting this month, but will certainly try to make the October meeting. Instead, there will be a question and answer period featuring a panel composed of Finch, Hookbill, Canary & Parakeet breeders. Any Questions???? Make notes so when you come to the meeting you won't forget what you wanted to ask.

RAFFLE: Glenn & Ruth Michell, Frank & Elsie Martin will be bringing something for this months raffle.

PET FAIRE-FEATHER SHOW: Sept 30th, Oct. 1st & 2nd, Santa Clara County Fairgrounds. Chuck Arella, Chairman (who incidently is on vacation in Europe) would like to remind you to be sure to let him know if you are showing any birds and how many. This is very important space-wise. There will be limited space for displays. Don't forget to label the variety of bird. MEMBERS ONLY - '77 HATCH ONLY.

RED FACTOR COLOR FOOD has been reordered and is available at $3.00 per oz. Call Leonard Quieto. If this is to be mailed, please add postage.

THIEVES in the night have certainly made themselves known. Joe Gordon, George Ginger & a lady in Sunnyvale have had their aviaries broken into and many birds have been stolen. Be aware of this and take extra precaution.

The next meeting date, Aug. 14th, will be the absolute deadline for an ad in the show catalog. Contact Joe Gordon.

Joe Gordon & Louise Quieto are both home from the hospital & recovering from recent surgery. Both Joe & Louise wish to thank you for the many cards and phone calls they have received during their illness.
