Dear Members,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped make our 1978 Show such a success.
A special thanks to those people who gave their time and energy on Thursday night for set-up, to those people who worked on the floor Friday & Saturday and a hearty "three cheers" for those faithful people who stayed and helped clean-up Sunday. And too, thanks to all the people who were responsible for the preparing and serving of the lunches & the banquet on Saturday & Sunday. To the young people who cleaned seed off the show benches, decorated tables, swept the floor, tied ribbons, served as stewards and helped with the clean-up, our unending gratitude. Without all your help, there would be no Santa Clara Bird Show, and these thankless jobs are very much appreciated by your outgoing President & board.
You people are real "troopers" & I hope next year the officers and board can have the same cooperation as we have had this year.
Sincerely
Joe Gordon, President
