Dear Members,

BUSY, busy days ahead! In preparation for the coming shows, the program for this meeting will be demonstrations on preparing the bird and cage for the show. This will help those who are showing for the first time and will be a reminder for the others. Also, Mr. Richard Watts of the Northwestern Industrial Lamp Co. will be present to show and explain special lighting to be used in the place of sunshine.

Since this is the last meeting before our show, Nov. 25th 26th & 27th, please make every effort to attend. Lots of last minute details to iron-out.

SHOW NOTES:

Thurs. Nov. 24th 6:30 P.M. setup staging at the Santa Clara High School Cafetorium. (Bring pliers & screw drivers)

Fri. Nov. 25th Those who will be working, please bring a loaf of bread made up into sandwiches.

Sat. Lunch: Will consist of meatballs & spagetti, salad, bread & dessert.

Sat. Banquet: Donations of food & money will certainly be needed for the dinner. Food needed will be jello salads, yams, relishes, cakes, pies, makings for toss salad & coffee. If you are not going to attend the meeting, please donate money for necessary food to be purchased. Please call Chuck Arella, our banquet chairman. Support the club, don't let a few members do all the work. CALL TODAY! We need your support. We need plenty of food; whatever is left over is used for the Sunday lunch.

An extra trophy has been donated by the A. F. of A. and will be awarded for the most Domestic Canaries entered.

DUE TO THE HIGH COST OF COFFEE, COFFEE WILL BE SOLD FOR 10¢ A CUP AT THE SHOW.

Don't forget to select a bird to donate for the Saturday show action. Please, when you bring the bird have it in a cage with a note saying whether bird & cage are to be auctioned together or cage to be returned to the owner.

Since Leonard will be judging in Bakersfield, Vice-Pres. Joe Gordon will appoint a nominating committee at the meeting for the December election.

RAFFLE: Joan Armer & Mary Volpe will be donating birds for this months raffle.

Glad to hear Glenn Mitchell & Louise Quieto are home from the hospital and doing nicely.
