Dear Members,

As announced in the last newsletter, this is the meeting when we have the FEATHER SHOW, at the high school cafetorium, for '78 hatch babies only. This is a fun event when the baby birds are not only judged by a judge, but also judged by you. Each member is encouraged to bring birds; there is no entry fee. If possible, use regular show cages & rules of the big show. (Put seed on bottom of cage, not paper & water in both cups.) The Feather Show is sort of a practice for the Open Show in November.

The Flea Market was very successful. Thanks to all who participated.

Our annual OPEN SHOW is just around the corner, Nov. 24, 25 & 26. Lots of work has already been done in preparation for the show & lots more is to be done. Anyone wishing to help in any way, please contact the Show Director, Leonard Quieto. Help is especially needed on Nov. 24 at 6:30 P.M. to set-up the staging & Nov. 26 at 3 P.M. to take the staging down. Also people will be needed to help prepare the lunch & banquet.

RAFFLE: Joe Gordon will be bringing something for the raffle table and two other members are needed to bring something too.

WELCOME to the following new members:
Mr. & Mrs. N. Sly, cockatiels, cockatoo
John Hughan, canaries
