Dear Members,

Hope your birds are shaping-up and you've decided which ones you are going to show at the PET FAIRE-FEATHER SHOW at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds on Sept. 30th, Oct. 1st & 2nd. Don't forget these are this years ('77 hatch) baby birds. Members only may show. PLEASE let Chairman Chuck Arella know at the meeting or call by Sept 18th to let him know how many birds you will be bringing. He must know so there will be sufficient staging for the birds. Remember there will be trophies awarded to the winners.

Mr. Hugh Wilson, renown Parakeet breeder & judge, will be our speaker for this months meeting. His topic will be Parakeet Show Stock & Show Rules.

Time is drawing near for our annual bird show Nov. 25th, 26th, & 27th. Show Director Joe Gordon has announced the Exotic Judge will be Glenn Mitchell, one of our own club members.

Sample trophies will be on display, come and help make the selection.

Food For Thought - Food donations will again be requested for the show weekend. A sign-up sheet will be sent around at the meeting.

Those bringing birds for the raffle this month will be Geneva Jacobson, Leonard Quieto & George Fernandes.

Glad to hear Carolyn Hansel is up and around after recent surgery. Sorry to hear Frank Davis will be having surgery Sept. 6th and will be in the San Jose Hospital for the week.
