Compilers
This is a list of programming compilers freely available on the internet.
Its not a complete list, it's simply a list of compilers that I know work
and that I actually find practical. All compilers are for MS-DOS, Windows
3.1, or Windows95.
If you really are serious about programming, you should invest in a
commercial compiler such as Borland C++ or Visual C++ 4.0. And no, I will
not send you any program that is on my computer for two reasons: 1) The
programs are very big and would take you hours to download, and 2) It's
software piracy so I could go to jail!.
- DJGPP - 32 bit C/C++ development
system for MS-DOS.
- A86 - High quality MS-DOS based
Assembler.
