Nov. 18, 1998

OK folks. Been a while since I have had a chance to update this page. First, PooDoo gave me an award, with the stipulation no more Sally Fields acceptance speech..lol. Well, I have been on the road doing shows in Baltimore and Atlanta. I have added slideshows to this now. They are too fun to do. Also, I have been getting lots of email for help. Feel honored since I too am a newbie. Had Draac stop by, WAY KEWL!!! Even took the time to sign my Guestbook. Well, now I am setting up sites on other "HOMES". This way, when people have questions about their particular home, I can have some idea how to help. I also got a new visitor today for COOL FREEBIES LINKS. They are adding my site to their list of places to go, and an award to go with it!!! Listen up folks, once you get the hang of this thing, its TOO MUCH FUN. Well, bye bye for now. I promise to keep this updated better...(fingers crossed).

Plug your ears folks......I WON AN AWARD...I WON AN AWARD..NA NA NA NAA NA NA......Ok, now that I got that out of my system, I would like to thank the academy for.....opps.....felt like Sally Fields...lol. Seriously, I am honored by this. I've been here 45 days and Dave (Dave's Midi--WebTV hero) felt I deserved this (blushing, but shit eating grin on face). Wow. I know people have won tons out there, but to me, I not in it to win an award, I just want other people like myself, who cant (at least now I'm getting the hang of it) figure this Net stuff out. Thats why I explain things like I do. Dont tell me the techy phrases, just plain good old fashion english works for me. Hope it helps you.

Hello all. I'm back. So much for updating this regularly!! Anyway, as you can see now, I have 2 entrances. Why, cuz I finally got a chance to see it on a computer.......OMG......it was a mess. Found out that we are to "advanced" for computers. They can't see all of our neat tricks, tables, and a few other things. So thats why different entrances. When building a site, I now have to remember that a 'puter may try to view it. If I understand that, I can create a better site. Well, my hits have gone up approx. 150 in 2 days....kewl....I think. Visited a site set up by Apollo AKA Titan Cronus...KEWL !!!! He inspired my new front page for WebTV'ers. Been visiting the html discuss group alot picking up ideas. Good idea to visit it every few days to see what new things are out there. Of course....one problem with the site....the immaturity of some people. There seems to be a lot of bashing of people, and alot of personal opinions being slung around. Well, guess that happens when you put alot of different people with different opinions in one place, the old addage, one bad apple, oh well, just skip over the banterings and look for the real meat. Its worth it through all the mess. Keep checking back folks.

October, 6, 1998

Its me again. Well first thing I have to update you on is I finally figured out the midi problem (about 15 mins after I wrote about it...figures!). Most important is something called the alt.discuss.html help group. Let me tell you one thing now, and if you never use anything you learn here, you MUST remember this group. I have never met a more wonderful....FAMILY....yes family, because of their unselfish desire to help each other....as this group. If you have a question on html for WebTV, this is the quickest way to get help from caring people. OK, enough ranting and raving....I good at that. By Monday, I will have my 3 templates up and running...1 for a FAMILY, 1 for KIDS, and one for a business. My God this is so much fun (popping another Prozac). Actually, it is starting to be so simple, I wonder why I didnt do this earlier. Let me tell you, I am a hairdresser, not a computer genius, and I am creating all this on my TV. Only bad part is, I have only 1 phone line, so my friends cant always reach me.....solution...2 of my friends now have webtv so they can e-mail me instead....I want a commission from Webtv....haha. Well, check back Monday evening for the newest pages folks. Til then, peace, love, and radical couch surfing.....only on WebTv of course!

Hi again folks! Ok, if you stopped by earlier, you will realize that the Main Page and the Intro Page are now totally different...why...well, the first ones where my first attempt at a page. Now that I'm getting the hang of things here, things are a changin'. As you can see by my last entry, the blueprints I was following are now lining the birdcage. Oh well, I was going to re-edit it, but, truth is, this is a learning homepage for all the weary Webtv'ers that may come this way, so honesty, and the ability to change my mind are part of reality, so it will remain un-editted so you can see what will happen if you try this. I've been off of here for a while, work kept me busy and traveling,( Hi Orlando and Atlanta ).

Still working with Piginout (judi ) on the music thing. See, I can get the music to play if it is at Daves or Draacs, but when I load it to my FM, nothing, nada, zip. I WILL get it figured out.

Check back folks, got some pages under construction for you to download, ready to go, with all the html for you so you can tailor it to what you need. I'll hang in there if you promise to stop back and see what up. Later ya'll

OK, today is the first time I've been spending on this endeavor. Still alive, good. I will leave some pages open for you to see. One page....EXPERIMENTAL...will be a test page where I try things out before putting them on their intended page. Should be fun to see some of the goof ups I make along the way. OK now folks, this going to be a project afterall. Oh well, thats the way it goes. Now to let you in on more stuff, I will end up with a total of about 20 "html pages", or whatever they are called, before this is all over. Got the hang of the "TRANSLOADER" thing now. Sounds like a Star Trek thing, but its this cool way of capturing stuff all over the place so I dont have to be a bandwidth bandit to other sites. Gee, Im such a nice guy. Yeah right!

Anyway, so much for now. Got to get back to the real job instead of running my mouth. Check on the page regularly as I will leave a history of this page.
