SUPERNOVAE 2005X, 2005Y, 2005Z, 2005aa Further to IAUC 8473, H. G. Khandrika, S. Park, J. Graham, and W. Li report the LOSS/KAIT discovery of four apparent supernovae on unfiltered KAIT images. SN 2005Z was discovered independently by O. Trondal and M. Schwartz (cf. IAUC 8468) on unfiltered Tenagra II 0.81-m telescope images.
SUPERNOVA 2005XX IN NGC 4012. Odd Trondal and Michael Schwartz report the TOSS discovery of an apparent supernova (mag about 16.5) on unfiltered Tenagra II 0.81-m images taken on January 16.40 2005 UT AND January 17.42 2005 UT. The new object was not detected in an earlier image taken on January 21.38 2004 UT (limiting mag about 19.0). SN 2005XX is located at R.A. = 11h 58m 28.54s, Decl. = +10o 01' 09.2" (equinox 2000.0), which is 13.6" east and 7.4" south of the nucleus of NGC 4012. Yours Sincerely Odd TrondalSubmit the Report here.
