Typical questions visitors ask:
![]() Who are you? My name is Michael Tartàglia. I live in New York (USA) and (obviously) enjoy programming. As of early 2003, I am a Bachelor of Science candidate in Computer Science at Fordham University, New York City. My pogramming knowlege includes UML, HTML, DHTML, CSS, JScript, Java, Perl/CGI, SQL, and Prolog. If you want to learn more about me, you can visit my PhREaKs Ltd. site. ![]() ![]() Why the name "HTML Hell?" I would very much like to say I never intended to offend anyone with the name "HTML Hell." I chose that name and slogan ("Sooo helpful, it's almost sinful") to keep up with the business of on-line tutorials. The name is catchy, as it almost rolls off the tongue, while at the same time grabbing attention. I promise everyone that this is a totally innocent site! :) ![]() ![]() What happened to the original "HTML Hell?" Honestly, it grew too unmanageable. I set up HTML Hell many years ago as a means for myself to learn the language as well as teach others. However, I did not keep it well organised and it fell apart. This version, lovingly called "HH2" is a newer, cleaner version that will bring you information from the original HTML Hell, as well as new tags. If you still would like to see the old HTML Hell, you can check out the old index page. All the links and pages should still be active, however know that I left that version unmaintained! ![]() ![]() What is here? HTML Hell offers online HTML help. While there are other HTML tutorials, this one is for those who do not have or are not sure if they want a page on the World Wide Web. I do recommend you staying for a while and getting acquainted with the features of HTML before you move onward to Geocities to make a (free!) page. ![]() ![]() How can I find tags? You can learn tags two ways. If you know the category of what you want, go to the corresponding page. For example, if you want to learn how to make text bold, go to the "text tricks" section. The other way to get a tag is to go to the "faq." On that page is are lists of every tag featured on this site. Click a tag and go to the page! Simple! ![]() ![]() What can I expect to come? You can expect a lot. The HTML programming language is constantly expanding. I may not be able to keep up with the changes, but as soon as a new feature becomes "mainstream," I will post it on this site in an instant. This site is full of useful tags with which every HTML programmer should be familar. Browse around! ![]() ![]() What if I have questions to ask? Questions should never be left unanswered. Also, for HTML Hell to work at its best, questions must be answered. If you have any questions, please post them at HTML Hell's Yahoo board: HTML Hell. By the way... ho studiato l'italiano per quattro anni, ma il mio vocabolario sta brutta! (Please note that I no longer readily accept emails. In the past, questions sent to me via email got mixed with junk mail and I accidentally deleted them. So, for your convenience, please join the HTML Hell club. It's free, and accessible from anywhere!) To ask questions or get help, post here: HTML Hell ![]() ![]() ![]() page info © 2001, m. tartàglia |
