Film: "Candyman" (1992).
Helen Lyle (Virginia Madsen) bases her doctoral thesis on murders supposedly
performed by the Candyman (Tony Todd), said to be seeking revenge for his own
murder over a century ago. Is it the work of a madman using the legend as a
cover-up, or is the legend a reality? Is Helen responsible for these gruesome
murders, and is she using her research as a cover-up? I won't ruin the suspense
of this finely written movie.
