Film: "The Freshman" (1990).
In this engaging and well acted comedy directed by Andrew Bergman, film
student Matthew Broderick winds up working for New York mobster Marlon Brando
after falling victim to a confidence trickster who takes all his money. Life
begins to imitate art as Broderick finds distinct similarities between the
movie he is studying, The Godfather, and Brando's character.
