Film: "Jungle fever" (1991).
A bit of a miss for Spike Lee, but still containing the occasional marked observation about prejudice as a married architect (Wesley Snipes) - with the unlikely name of Flipper Purify - begins an affair with his secretary (Annabella Sciorra). When they are rumbled all hell breaks loose as Snipes is thrown out of the family home and Sciorra is beaten by her father. Lee could have dug a little deeper, but there is a diverting sub-plot involving Flipper's crack pedalling brother Gator (Samuel L. Jackson) and an engaging soundtrack.
