Film: "Small Soldiers" (1998).
Joe Dante dreams up another odd little scenario as a ruthless toy manufacturer
makes an army of GI Joe toys - the Commando Elite powered by a killer
microchip - which are let loose in a small town. Live action and computer
imagery are fused in this Gremlins-style film and, naturally, as is the
way with these things, a schoolboy is the only person capable of saving the
community.
