Dear Mustangs

I would have loved to have been able to attend the reunion at Allen's Pond this coming week but due to  my responsibility to care for my mother 24-7 I will have to miss the reunion.

I have heard from several Mustangs that the hallways we once traveled are no longer. They have torn our school down and replaced it. I would say we all have several fond members made in that building. The decision to replace the building was a blessing to say the least considering all the asbestos in that old building. Maybe the next reunion can be held in the newer school and we can make some new members.

I would of liked to shake some hands, pat some backs, hugged and kiss the ladies on the cheeks that I remember so dearly and get those hugs and kisses back.

Several Mustangs new me and what I had to do just to attend high school. I was the bread winner in the family then and attend school the best I could. For those of you who listened attentively and make  things seem better and to those who brought me into your homes to stay when I did not have a place to stay. I can never thank you enough for what you did for me. If you had not of been there for me I would not have been able to finish school. The  most important people in my live during high school were James Cloud, Marvin Hammond, Chuck Schoppet, Peggy Shannon and last but never the least Carmen Brown who always had a little inspiration for me each day. (If any one knows where Marvin is let me know)

Signing up on classmates was the best money I have ever spent in my life. I just hope now that several of us have been contact again we will never lose contact. We may not be able to visit but we sure can email. Internet what a wonderful thing.

Well I better finish up by saying be safe on your travels to and from the reunion and I hope you will let me know all about it.

Best Regards,

Glenward E. Gross, Class of 82

PS: If anyone has any scans of the year book and would like to share I would appreciate it, Mine was lost in a fire.
