CREATING LINKS

1. Create a link object, graphic or text, that indicates a link to another page:

2. Click on the link object to select it

3. With the object selected, Click on the Link button on the blue toolbar

Linking to one of your own pages

4. In the Link To window that opens, select This file in my directory and type in the file name of the page

5. Click Ok

Linked text will now look like this

Linking to a page on the Web

4. In the Link To window that opens, select The following URL: and type in the web page address

5. Click Ok

Email Links

1. Put something on your page to use as a link: text or a graphic

Email me!

DON'T USE YOUR GEOCITIES EMAIL ADDRESS UNLESS YOU HAVE HAD YOUR EMAIL FORWARDED FROM THERE. GeoCities mail is sometimes hard to access. I recommend using whatever other email address you have, or create a new one with Yahoo!, Hotmail, etc.

2. Select the text or graphic link object and click on the Link button on the blue toolbar

3. Select This e-mail address: in the Link window

4. Type in your email address

5. Click OK

CHANGE THE DEFAULT LINKS COLOR

1. right-click on the background of the page

Select Default Text Color

This window opens

2. Select the default colors for all your link types
