Modelling the Bottom Trim
By
Pat Connelly

This is getting repetitious. This is the spline editor with a
backdrop picture loaded. An outline of the bottom trim has been created.
Points were added and saved to create a Detail editor compatible object.

This is the outline of the object loaded within the detail editor.
The outline is complete and only needs faces.

Faces were added by extruding the object, in point mode joining the the
newly extruded points, and moving the points back the exact distance they were extruded to
complete adding faces to the outline.

The objects axis was carefully placed and scaled for proper size
adjustment of the faced object. This is done with transformation requestor.
The object is then extruded to the correct thickness. Done!
