KEEP YOUR E-MAIL SECURE--AT NO ADDITIONAL COST

"You wouldn't walk down the street naked, so why be naked on the Web?" a new e-mail service, 1on1mail.com, asks on its Web site. Putting its money where its mouth is, 1on1mail will soon release an advanced e-mail security program, 1on1Lite, Version 3.0, the Secure Seafood learned today.

This secure E-mail network keeps everyone's e-mail messages private, secure, and protected. The software is free and can be downloaded starting next Tuesday.

1on1Lite promises to:

  • Zap e-mail snoopers so you can enjoy secure confidentiality.
  • Guarantee delivery and receipt of e-mail.
  • Track and report the delivery and opening of each message you send.
  • Guarantee complete confidentiality, with 2,048-bit encryption (the company offers $50,000 to anyone who can break it).
  • Encrypt messages with military spec encryption.
  • Encrypt all attachments with the same military spec encryption.
  • Use the same compatible encryption anywhere in the world (no export restrictions).
In addition, 1on1Lite is not Web based, so you can work offline. It also incorporates solid anti-spam features and makes it easy to migrate regular non-encrypted e-mail over to its encrypted system.

Add to that a simple interface, and as Crusty notes, you've got a nice new entry in the e-mail arena.
