acid + alkaline = salt + water
I have heard about to becoming salt of the world. When I was meditating on it, I perceive that whatever things we do, they must be in balance in the wisdom of God. In high school I had got a chemistry formula:
HCl + NaOH = NaCl + H2O
Na2O(s) + 2HCl(aq) = 2NaCl(aq) + H2O(l)
HCl (hydrochloric acid) a strong, highly corrosive acid that is a water solution of the gas hydrogen chloride, HCl: it is widely used in ore processing, for cleaning metals, as a reagent, etc.
NaCl (salt) 1 sodium chloride, NaCl, a white, crystalline substance with a characteristic taste, found in natural beds, in sea water, etc., and used for seasoning and preserving foods, etc. 2 a chemical compound derived from an acid by replacing hydrogen, wholly or partly, with a metal or an electropositive radical: the salt of an -ous acid is usually indicated by the suffix -ite, the salt of a -ic acid by the suffix -ate.
H2O (water) the colorless, transparent liquid occurring on earth as rivers, lakes, oceans, etc., and falling from the clouds as rain: chemically a compound of hydrogen and oxygen, H2O, it freezes, forming ice, at 0ºC (32ºF) and boils, forming steam, at 100ºC (212ºF).
The compound HCl and NaOH are not good for food and could cause body disorder or disease if it's eaten, that's why when we mix the compound HCl and NaOH, they must be in a balance mixture. If not, they will not produce only salt and water, but also a destructive compound for our body. That's why we must control our activities in the wisdom of God to become the salt of the world. You who have learned chemistry must understand what I am talking about.
