A model, named Didi Mirhad was on TV on Friday, January 29, 1999, in an interview at 10 a.m., testified that he has been healed from AIDS. The TV, RCTI, is a national TV. Imagine, in our beloved land, with 200 millions people. We know that in the past, we could not hear this kind of news. Didi Mirhad thanked "my God Jesus Christ" for the healing. Didi Mirhad had lost 25 kilogram and now he only needs 6 kilo more to get his normal weight. He sang a thanksgiving song before saying, "Happy Eid Ul Fitri" to the interviewer who then replied by saying, "Oh, yes, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you too."
Earlier, sometimes, in last semester (1998), I bought a magazine, also a secular magazine called "Dewi" because this magazine had an interview with Samuel Wattimena, our top designer who testified his repentance from being a gay. Samuel clearly shared how he fought against this abnormal behavior for so many years until he gave up when he went to New York where he was told by someone that gay/lesbian is genetic. But our Lord God is a faithful God. Although Samuel had given up, HE didn't let him dying in his sin. One day, Samuel came to the Lord, confessed and repented. Now he is free from homosexual life. He praised the Lord.
I praised the Lord for them. And I praised the Lord because this news are shared to the secular world so more people could hear that.
From that friend who read the Victorious Family's news, I heard that Samuel and Didi are friends. Didi's testimony was actually that led Samuel to God. So, brethren, take a look at your life and see if you have anything to testify. Share them to your friends / families / relatives whoever they are, your testimonies might lead them to Jesus. This is the way we could help this dying world to live. (If you couldn't find anything from your life, shared someone else's testimonies. It'll encourage you too to keep on walking with Jesus until great things happen in your life).
