Description

LCDisplayer outputs various information to an HD44780 compatible display or Futaba VFD panel connected to a parallel port. The plug-in should be compatible with displays of all sizes. There is also a Simulation Window to preview what an LCD display would look like.

The plug-in will only work if you have connected your display to the parallel port as described on the LCD Connection page.

Installation and Usage:

1. Place the vis_LCDisp.DLL and a vis_LCDisp.INI file into the Plugins directory of Winamp.
2. Start Winamp and go to the Preferences menu.
3. Go to the Visualization Plug-in setup and select LCDisplayer (vis_lcdisp.dll).
4. Under Plug-In Module select the desired Output (see Modules section for description).
5. Make sure the checkbox beside Auto execute plug-in on play is selected.
6. Press Apply and exit Winamp.
7. Edit the file vis_LCDisp.INI in the Plugins directory of Winamp to suit your configuration.
8. Start Winamp and play an MP3 file. You should see the information that you configured in the .ini file.
