He married Olive Cole. (Olive Cole is #549.) Olive was born 9 OCT 1875. Olive was the daughter of George W. Cole and Eliza A. Shaddy. Olive became the mother of Joseph Valentine 2 Apr 1896. Olive became the mother of Florence Valentine 27 Aug 1901. Olive became the mother of Ethel Valentine 24 Aug 1907. At 18 years of age Olive became the mother of Edith Valentine 4 JUN 1894. At 23 years of age Olive became the mother of Bernie Valentine 23 FEB 1899. At 38 years of age Olive became the mother of Margaret Valentine 19 OCT 1913.

John became the father of Joseph Valentine 2 Apr 1896. John became the father of Florence Valentine 27 Aug 1901. John became the father of Ethel Valentine 24 Aug 1907. At 36 years of age John became the father of Edith Valentine 4 JUN 1894. At 41 years of age John became the father of Bernie Valentine 23 FEB 1899. At 55 years of age John became the father of Margaret Valentine 19 OCT 1913.

John Wesley Valentine and Olive Cole had the following children:

4 iii. Ethel Valentine (#986) was born 24 Aug 1907. She married Lawrence Higgins. (Lawrence Higgins is #987.) Lawrence became the father of Roberta Higgins 13 JAN 1927. Lawrence became the father of Ernest Higgins 3 OCT 1928. (See Lawrence Higgins for the continuation of this line.)

Ethel became the mother of Roberta Higgins 13 JAN 1927. Ethel became the mother of Ernest Higgins 3 OCT 1928.

7 vi. Margaret Valentine (#990) (still alive).
