I found a way to get a free Chinese Language Kit for your MP130 and MP120 with NOS 2.0. Yes, only for MP130 and MP120 with NOS 2.0. If you interested in CLK for MP2000/2100, check my MP2000 CLK web page.
First, you have to open your MP130 Asian Language ability. There is a Japanese System Patch for MP130. The patch can open it up. You can query it on Apple Japan ftp service. Note that, Apple Japan homepage is in Japanese. So, you should install JLK on your Macintosh first to surfing. Oh, the Language Enabler for MP120 with NOS 2.0 is here.
Second, install the right system patch into your MP130 or MP120. Then, reboot your Newton. This time you feel nothing new, but it is really open your Newton Asian Language ability.
Third, there is a free Chinese Language Kit for NOS 1.3, called LaHow1.0Lite. It can not work on NOS 2.0 previuosly, but after you installed the Japanese System Patch, it works fine!! Support Chinese Find and a Chinese Input Method. You can get it on here. Downloading it and installing all of its parts into your Newton.
Fourth, that's it! Done. Open your Notes to try out. But I know some buggy at Dates and Names.
Using this way, you only get 5600 Chinese chars, not the full version. But it is free, no more you should ask. If you want complete Chinese font set, please email to the developer of LaHow1.0Lite -- MacBlue.
Users of MP120 should down your system patch version before 2.0 (516205) then install this Japanese System Patch.
I have written a locale package for this free CLK. It let Dates represent date in Chinese way. It is named ROCLocale1.0. Now it temperary lie on here.
There is another Chinese Input Method, PinYin/Phrase/English-Chinese Input Method, and a UniTaipeiX font (included in JIS0208 characters), which both written by Joseph Chen. They can let your Free-CLK works better than ever. If you interested in both of them, you can link to his Newton web page for more detail. From his web page, you can get another full char set (13053 chars) Chinese font plus Japanese font for FREE!

各位擁有MP120/MP130的使用者有福了，這裡教各位如何自製一套精簡版的中文套件給您的MP120/MP130使用。
各位聽過LaHow1.0Lite吧？是的，這是給NOS 1.3使用的中文套件精簡版，只有5600字，並且只有注音輸入法，安裝到NOS 2.0的機器上(如MP130)會有水土不服的現象。這個原因是缺少了一個叫Language Enabler 的東西，所以，它就無法用在NOS 2.0的機器上了。
現在，很意外的，我在網路上找到給MP130用的Language Enabler，是放在日本Apple公司的網頁上。不過它並不是單純一個軟體，是隱藏在system patch中的。我已經把它的鏈結加到我的網頁中了，各位只要到系統程式更新資訊區上去抓就可以找到了。當然，由於它會連到日本去，所以您如果想要看到日文得先要裝JLK。又，如果您是使用MP120 NOS 2.0的機器的話，最近我又找到了給MP120 with NOS 2.0用的Language Enabler，和MP130一樣，只要裝上這個日文系統的更新程式，您的MP120便可以馬上變身成為具有中文能力的機器。不過MP120的使用者請先將您的系統變回2.0 (516205)以前的版本才能安裝此一日文系統升級程式。舊的系統程式您可以到系統程式區去找找。
在您的Newton裝上了該日文版的系統升級軟體後，您的MP130/MP120 with NOS 2.0便可以認得ASCII以外的文字了。這時候，您就可以把以前那個水土不服的LaHow1.0Lite通通給裝到您的MP130/MP120 with NOS 2.0上...Ta La...完成了，您的Newton就已經有中文可以用了，並且還支援Find(中文全文檢索)的功能，夠酷吧？不過我知道您在Names以及Dates並沒有辦法完全使用中文，我正在想辦法中。如果您願意，也可以寫一封信要求MacBlue改寫他的LaHow1.0Lite給NOS 2.0的機器用。
我自己也寫了一個可以把日期表示中文化的小軟體，目前已經放到網路上免費供各界玩賞了，敬請自行取用。裝上它之後Dates就會有中文的日期表示方式，而不是原來的美式日期表示式。目前是暫時放在聖堂上傳區。以後應該是會移到這裡。
陳佳信最近在網路上公佈了一份給Newton使用的中文輸入法以及幾款足字集的中文字形，可以讓我所說的免費中文能夠較為正常工作。它所寫的輸入法是拼音、拼音辭庫、倉頡、以及粵語輸入法，他在網頁中也有提到說要推出注音輸入法。這個輸入法有支援英文手寫辨識以及自動選詞(中文)的功能。另外，陳先生的UniTaipeiX字體中還包含了JIS0208字集，所以也有日文。
