The 20,000 Peso PC Parts Guide
by Mark Rubrico

Conclusion : Some final Thoughts

After you have finally bought all of the 20,000-peso systems parts you can either have someone assemble it or do it yourself. Remember that when you hire someone to assemble these parts, you should make sure that he knows what he is doing. Try to watch him and learn from him, so that if something goes terribly wrong with your computer you would at least be able to identify the problem.

The prices that have been presented here are accurate for now. Not much later, the prices of these parts, will start to drop, which is not exactly surprising because of the nature of the computer industry.

You may, at first, find it difficult to match the prices listed here. Buying a Buy & Sell paper, will help you find those rock-bottom prices. However, remember that you must find a very reliable shop. They must have great warranty. Avoid those really small shops, some will only try to sell you either second hand or out-of warranty items.

Recalling what has been stated earlier, this 20,000 peso computer is arguably the best compromise between performance ( and reliability ) and price. With it you can expect to run the latest software with relative ease and not worry too much about upgrading in the near future.

I know its a little more than 20,000 pesos, but it wouldn't sound too good if i called this article the 20,725-Peso PC Parts Guide , would it? ( besides, one 0 less would make it 2000, for Y2k! )Also, after a few weeks this will be little lower than 20,000! I think i'll rename it to The 19,999-Peso PC Parts Guide .

I hope that this article could help when you purchase a new computer this summer. If you want to ask to some questions regarding this article ( or anything about life :) ) mail me at mryoso@yahoo.com or better yet post your questions/comments/violent reactions at Chips and Bits' very own Forum.
