 The first thing you do is select the  tool. Then choose which shape you are going to use. (Square or eliptical) |

 The second step is to Draw the shape of the button you want. To keep the shapes Proportional Hold shift > Click and then drag |

 The third step is to choose the color of the button. Goto the color palete and select the desired color of the button. |

Now you have a basic button, if you want to enhance it even more, continue on with the steps below. |

 The fourth step is to make a gradiant fill. You do this by going to the  tool and choose linear fill. Then select the section of the button you want to fill with the  and use the gradiant to fill that section |
