19/06/04: Sorry for taking so long to update this. The CD is completely finished - being mass-produced as I type. I decided to try and change the site's layout to match the flavour of the CD, it's a work in progress. Slink are supporting The Unhinged on June the 25th at The Bridge Centre. Doors at 7;30, £3 admission. Take an extra £2 to buy our CD ;)
16/04/04: Nothing much to say. Still no more progress recording because the Bridge Centre is closed. Changed all the spelling mistakes when I spelt The Unginged ;)
05/04/04: Began recording again, we're doing a different instrument at a time to make it sound a lot better. Because of this, I'm not going to put up any more music from the 19th, instead I'll wait until this CD is finished (yeah, and I'm also procrastinating the stress that comes with trying to mess around with the music files). Reilly from The Unhinged has asked if we'd like to play a gig with them in June, the last Bridgey gig before the summer! Hope to see people there to support The Unhinged and Slink.

20/3/04: Gig went down well, thanks to those who stuck around to listen, for more info see the "Gig History". Slink will be recording again in a few weeks so keep a look out for a new, far-improved Slink CD coming in the future, once this is finished we're going to start our quest for gigs in Edinburgh. Heh, wish us luck. Still no more word about an upcoming gig with Legless and some other bands, being organised by Martin Ross - formerly of the BMI, if I hear anything new I'll let you all know. Also expect some new pictures to be put up soon as my camera was handed in for development today.
11/3/04: Gig has been confirmed for the 19th of March, with us and another Bridgey group supporting a band coming up from Lincoln, although there are no details yet, it will probably begin around 7-8pm and cost £3, hope to see you all there!
26/2/04: I put new pics up, in the nicely titled "Pictures" page. There's rumours about a gig with a band from SoMEwhEre elSE, but nothing concrete yet, I wouldn't want to start the rumour mill and get your hopes up for nothing ;) Been writing our own stuff too. Yes, WRITING OUR OWN STUFF.
7/1/04: Due to people nagging me to renew this page I thought I better add something. Nothing new was happened band-related, but I found a website that has a photo of the time when Rage Against The Machine stood on stage naked. This find was 100% coincidence! Be warned, when I say naked I mean TOTALLY naked.
21/12/03: Recording was set back due to preparation for the gig, and Vince had a cold so it would sound crap. We're not really sure what's happening with recording now. The Gig History page has been updated with info on the 19th. Cherry Pop Tarts contain gelatine. 111111111 x 111111111 is 12345678987654321, really, try it!
04/12/03: Finished recording the tracks at the Bridge Centre, now all that needs done is Vince's vocals and the mixing down. Unfortunately, despite all our planning, we never managed to record all the tracks we wanted, this means some of our original music won't be on the CD. Posters for the gig on the 19th will be circulating shortly.....

29/11/03: Added a new sort of game thing called Curse Like Roman, it just generates really weird insults that are sorta funny. Incase nobody understood my rantings from last night, we have a gig on Friday the 19th of December in the Bridge Centre with The Vision. Doors at 7:30.
28/11/03: Was at Muse on Tuesday and it wasn't just amazing, it was Amazing. Recording was set back a week due to something I can't remember, but we're doing it this Thursday now. Our next gig is Definately on December the 19th of Friday, with La Visione at 7:30 so y'all should be there, at trhe Bridge Centre. On other news today, Rachel's cat is called Elmo and he smealls of porridge. Nearly spelt right. God my head hirts.

23/11/03: Ok, first update. Things in progress: We are still trying to get more photos for the pictures page. This involves us messing around with disposable cameras which may get us in trouble when the photos are developed, due to the stupid things we've caught on film. I've been asking around to get more information about gigs previous and upcoming, our next one appears to be in December with The Vision. By this time, we should have finished recording our second CD and have it on sale.
