The British weather forecasting organisation, the Met Office has agreed to supply data to NATO high command.
As part of the deal, many weather presenters have joined the ranks. Ian McCaskill receives the rank
of Major, and will be reporting to the generals in command every half hour on the state of the
weather, and at the same time amuse and entertain with various witty jokes.
We talked to one of the generals who will benefit from these reports, General Kelly.
It's great to have Ian on board. I love his little weather reports after the news and now I get to see his reports all the time. I makes the job easier and everyone here is happier when Ian does his show.
He'll make a great officer.
Scuffles broke out at British Army HQ when planning a parade. The ministry of defense insisted
that all parts of the army be represented. Many captains feel that certain parts should be excluded.
I understand that the catering corps is an essential part of the army, but that giant sausage would just spoil the whole parade.
