I had the opportunity to attend an Alphan fellowship last Friday at Cendrillon, a restaurant owned by a Brod. There were a couple of visiting Brods. Upon learning that I was a Sis, one of the Brods asked about other Sisses. We talked a bit about our experiences.

I promptly launched into the story of the first time I met Alumnae Sisters when I was still a neophyte at one of my at-homes, and how I remember words of wisdom about having a Brod as a boyfriend/husband. I was told to make damn sure I wasn't joining just because he was my boyfriend.

Anyway, the food was scrumptious! The restaurant is not your typical turo turo eatery. Yes, it is a Filipino Asian restaurant, and the food is prepared and presented in such a delectable manner. Nick and I have been going through the menu everytime we've been there, trying each dish. The Chicken Inasal and the Salted Duck were the last mouth watering dishes we've tried.

By the way, Cendrillon is Cinderella in French.

P.S. I'm posting in both Sorority egroups for a request for a list of Sis and Brod couples. This is the second fellowship I've attended where I thought another Sis was going to attend. The fellowship before this one, a Brod came, but his wife, a Sis, was unable to attend. (It was also a bit last minute for me, I did not know there was a visiting Brod and Sis, and I'm pretty sure she didn't know I was here in NY or even going to the meeting).

Anyway, a list of couples would be a nice thing to have.
