There is a lovely word...

Poem by Ann Pass

There is a lovely word
whose letters number six
it stands for someone who will help
when you're in a fix

Someone who will stop
to lend a listening ear
to put a smile upon your face
to take away the fear

Someone who you can go to
when you're feeling down
and someone who'll come with you
for a night upon the town

There's only one person
can go from start to end
and the lovely word of letters six
can only be but
