In the midst of a star
shining bright
lost in the shadows 
embracing the night
bringing with me the shadow I cast
searching for the future
yet hiding from the past
the end is near
still, a beginning awaits
for in me you'll find
love, joy, and hate
the fighter lives
within us all
waiting for the end
for the awaited downfall
and in the dreams
which you once held true
in the darkest sky
of the darkest blue
from the oceans untouched oasis
you can hear it calling
on this dark, cold night
you can feel yourself falling
searching for your future
yet hiding from your past
you will never excape
the shadow you cast.
