Beginnings

and as the desert sun blows against my skin
I feel the release of all that has held me back
and I know that things will follow the right path
so long as I listen to my heart and believe
and as the woodland's smell fills my senses with cleansing
I cast off the shallow garments of the others
and meet life on a level that few can undertstand
fewer still would every seek out for the truth
the water is cool against my skin
the air so inviting
as I move from place to place
in the river of thought called my mind
and love with all I've got
