obliteration

obliteration * sometimes you swing to the key of need instead of reality
all you feel is everything at one time
	the breeze against your skin
the way your clothes feel against your body
the scent of night within you
the animal that drives you on
until you reach the Key of Obliteration
where all points meet as one
and the reality of that moment is primal
	beyond your self-control
		unyielding ... unforgiving
then you fall over the edge
a wild ride ... for awhile
until the reality that these moments are fleeting
		therefore protected
they slip away into the cold hard emptiness
		that is the void
that is only if you let them
hold on tightly to your dreams ... hopes ... wants
they are precious and must never be lost
remember there will be better days
even on the best of days
	cherish the moment
for it is fleeting and must be recalled
must be free to roam your dreams
***
electric run my thoughts
as i slide from one place to another
a dancer in motions
	on a sea of knowledge
seeking only wisdom ... enlightenment ... a new dream
far from removed am i who knows the infinite possibilities
and wants to try them all
time is fleeting but far from retreating
it stretches into the dreams of tomorrow
		into more infinite possibilities
		than your wildest dreams
***
so still the night
	the cats resting and all
	alone
there is a space for one who belongs here
	vacant
	a jest if you will
the court has been diminished
the prince is not within the castle keep
	we've looked for him
		he is not here
perchance a bit of faerie magic
of wonderful woods full of dreams
of willful play and stories spun by the light of the moon
and perhaps in days to come there will be justice done
the prideful will fall upon their knees
they will plead for mercy for these follies
will we listen
or will we behave just as they had
		wrongly
