i gaze towards the mountains
so majestic with the swirls of clouds
the textures so exotic
against a grey tapestry
i take in a deep breath of air
my lungs full up with freshness
a feeling indescribable descends
and there are patches here and there
of darkness
where the sky if so full of rain
it can barely contain it
i smile as my feet gently pad across the ground
happy to be out
happy to be in this wonderful balance
when nature would cleanse the earth
of all impurities
and give to us a gift
to set our souls so free
