Not long ago, the word 'cancer' was taboo, and was the worse thing to overcome or beat the odds.  Some people were very brave through their experience with this disease and became milestones for those who now are in complete remission of this disease and for those who have had time extended to their lives.

   I remember when people thought really 'ill-well' towards those with cancer, who were suffering this insufferable deadly disease.  Nobody wanted to associate with these cancer victims, not so unlike those with HIV AIDs victims today---this was not that long ago.  Therefore, people suffered in silence and some still do today because they aren't aware of the treatment programs, researches, HOPE and help available to them today.
   Now researches are constantly updated and are very available, if you know where to start looking on the internet.  For this reason, I made a goal to look up links in my local state of Michigan and nearby surrounding state of Ohio and connect them to this page so at least the local Michigander's will have a start at where they can turn to with easy accessibility, at least I hope & pray for this.
