The Principal

Author: Michael Pasque aka Writer1

Charles Hephman, a 14 year old eighth grade boy, was walking to Mr. Kober's, the principal of Bell Bourne Elementary, office. He had just been fooling around in class when his teacher, Mrs. Gobberstone, sent him to Mr. Kober's for not paying attention in class for the 3rd time. He was mad and hated Mr. Kober. He just wanted to kill him.

When Charles got to Mr. Kober's office, Mr. Kober was on the phone. Charles waited impatiently for him to get off the phone. Finally, Mr. Kober hung up and looked at Charles. He said," Charles Hephman...again. When will you learn that you just CAN'T fool around in class??"

" Mr. Kober I was just-"

Mr. Kober cut him off," No excuses! I am going to call your parents. You will be suspended for 1 week."

" Oh come on Mr. Kober!" Charles pleaded.

" No! You are going to get what is comming to you!" Mr. Kober yelled.

"You will get what is comming to you too!" Charles thought.

Mr. Kober then picked up the phone and dialed Charles number. He started talking to his mother and after a few minutes hung up.

" Well, well, well. Your mother will be picking you up soon and you will be suspended for 1 week. Better get ready to go Charles...."

Charles then went to his locker and picked up his backpack and books. Then he waited in the school's parking lot. His mother got there about 5 minutes later. While they were driving home she said," Charley honey....what happened??"

" All I did was talk....then I got sent to Mr. Kober's for the 3rd time in the past 2 days." Charles explained.

There was silence for the rest of the way home.

3 Days Later

That night he went into his parents room and went to where they kept a Smith& Wesson .45 and stuffed it in his jeans. Then he took his bike from the garage and rode it to Bell Bourne Elementary. He saw Mr. Kober's office light on. Mr. Kober always worked late. Then rest of the school looked deserted. He walked to Mr. Kober's office and knocked on the closed door. "Boy it is cold in here" Charles thought.

" Who is it?" Mr. Kober asked from behind the closed door.

" It is me....Charles Hephman." Charles said coolly.

" Come in." Mr. Kober answered.

Charles opened the door and walked into Mr. Kober's office. Mr. Kober was writing something on a piece of paper. He closed the door behind him.

" What do you want, Charles?" asked Mr. Kober.

" I want to kill you!" answered Charles.

" Oh yeah? With what?" asked Mr. Kober without a trace of fear.

" This." answered Charles as he pulled out the Smith & Wesson .45 and pointed it at Mr. Kober's head.

" You aren't man enough to do it. You probably have blanks in that gun." said Mr. Kober with a slight trace of fear this time.

" Oh yeah?" he asked as he shot and hit Mr. Kober's arm.

" Is that a blank?" asked Charles.

Blood was running down Mr. Kober's arm and he was screaming with pain. He tried to reach for the phone but Charles shot the phone 2 times.

" P-P-P-Please d-d-d-don't shh-shh-shhoot me....p-pl-please d-do-don't shoot me." said Mr. Kober with a frightened voice.

" You will get what's comming to you." said Charles mockingly.

" I will give you wh-wh-whatever you w-wa-want." replyed Mr. Kober.

"No! I want you DEAD!" Screamed Charles. And with that Charles shot the rest of the bullets into Mr. Kober's head.

" Yo--you w-won't get a-a-way with this...." Mr. Kober said in a very weak voice. He was dead.

" Yes I will." Charles replyed to the dead man. Then he got a bullet from his pocket and loaded it in his gun. He raised it to his head and cocked it. Then he pulled the trigger and shot himself. He fell to the ground and the gun fell out of his hand. His last thought was," I got my revenge." Then he layed there still as can be and died.
