Oddly enough, with one or two exceptions, the line shown below is from eldest child to eldest child.
I have found Crowson Family Associations in many states, not least of which Florida and Georgia. And I have also found some possible links to Crowsons in England.
My line:
Carmen C. Crowson, b.1914, (my mom)
Jessie William Crowson, b.1887, d.1958
Isaac Hutchinson Crowson, b.1848, d.1908
John Bedney Crowson, b.1817, d.1873
William Miller Crowson, b.1793, d.?
Richard Thomas Crowson, b.1770, d.?
William Crowson, b.1750, d.1814
(William served during the American Revolutionary War,
and was awarded with a tract of land in Sevier County,
Tennessee.)
John Crowson, b.?, d.1780
William Crowson, b.1694, d.1756
Robert Crowson, b.1665, (in Nottingham, Eng.?)
There is also mention of two cousins, both named John Crowson, who travelled together from Nottingham to the New World, landing here in the 1690's.
