WORK EXPERIENCE
2003 - 2007
FIRE Solutions, Inc. - San Francisco - Online Learning Group - As a trainer, I answered content questions from our students and advised them on the best study methods and testing strategies for passing the NASD Series 7 exam. I also assisted our other trainers with content for the NASD Series 6, 9/10 & 24 exams.

- As a subject-matter expert and technical writer, I wrote continuing education content pertaining to enhanced due diligence, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, hedge funds, information barriers, anti-money laundering, insider trading, gifts & entertainment and customer identication programs - this involved researching new securities products and the ever-changing regulatory environment.

1997 - 2000
Kinko's, Inc. - San Francisco - Computer Services Department
-As Supervisor of Technology, I assisted customers who rented in-house PC and Mac workstations, and advised them on formatting their documents; performed hardware and software maintenance; performed full- service desktop publishing - designing business cards, menus, and invitations, as well as pre-press work-ups; executed digital printing output, and oversize color printing/mounting. I was assisted by a staff of professionals who performed more or less the same tasks. I received repeated accolades on my service skills and knowledge from customers who had submitted written comments to Kinko's headquarters.

1986 - 1995
Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. - San Francisco - Compliance Division
-As a Restricted Stock Analyst, I processed documentation from Schwab customers to approve restricted stock liquidations in accordance with Securities and Exchange Commission regulations. This required daily contact with Schwab branch offices, outside corporate counsels, stock transfer agents and Schwab's in-house counsel.

-As a Fraud Analyst, I developed the means to track suspicious activities, and generated monthly and quarterly reports to Management based on geographical region and dollar-amount exposure. I also prepared packages of evidence for a variety of law enforcement agencies. As a Project Manager, I audited internal procedures for adherence to Company policy, compliance with regulatory designs and fraud awareness. On two seperate occasions, I testified on behalf of the Company in Federal Criminal Court as an expert witness.

1980 - 1986
Merrill Lynch & Company - San Francisco - Customer Services Division
-As the Lead Clerk of the Stock Transfer Control Unit in the Regional Operations Center, I coordinated the distribution of trust and estate account assets, performed Flower Bond redemptions, troubleshooted on problem cases, trained new employees and assisted the Unit Supervisor in administrative duties. Before assuming this position, I was a Margin Bookkeeper, Cash Controller and Wire Operator at the San Francisco Branch Office.
