As you can tell from her picture, Ness is a northern lass. Most people have a terrible amount of difficulty understanding what she says, so she is forced to carry about her person a small Northern-Southern dictionary, so that she can translate any tricky words for friends and colleagues.

Ness came down south to Hampshire when her pit pony died, and has made a fine career for herself in the design industry. Incredibly talented (and this is the serious bit) in all areas of design, she specialises in multimedia, and currently works for that huge organisation that makes Business Machines.

Having spent three years at The University of Portsmouth with Ness, I can safely say that she has damaged me mentally, and I will never be able to hold a saucepan in a taxi again without feeling physically sick.
