Part One - Rising to the Heavens

While I have at times touched upon, and even summarized what exactly it was that made the Summer of 1982 so amazing, I have never actually told the whole story. Through my comic strip "1982" I've presented mere encapsulations of key events from that time period, yet now it is now my intention with the following to finally give the entire tale, before the last remnants of what once was as clear in it's perfection as the unimagined paradise we all hold within ourselves, fades into the mists of oblivion leaving the spectre of what once was.
