ANIM_BULLET_WHITE-BLUE.gif (275 bytes)Ofira Yosefi did a lot of back up singing for many famous artists. Her voice is so good that she clearly deserved to go solo, and that is what she did in 1989 with her first album called "Neither Black nor White". She mixes different styles, but you still can feel a jazzy-bluesy influence. A little more than a year later she associated with her sister, Ravit, and they both released a great pop-dance album which was a huge success in Israel. Since then, unfortunately, she has not done much: a few back ups here and there, and several duets (with the biggest artists though): Gidi Gov, Avi Dor and Dani Robas. I really hope that she will go back to recording because Ofira Yosefi is very talented and it would be a shame to waste all this gifts...

OFIRA_YOSEFI

NEITHER BLACK NOR WHITE. Hed Artzi. A fabulous jazzy-pop album. Great voice. Not available on CD. Highly recommended!

OFIRA & RAVIT YOSSEFI

OFIRA AND RAVIT YOSEFI. Hed  Artzi. A great  collection of pop-dance-bluesy-jazzy titles. Very successful in Israel at the time of the release (1990). On my favorite list! Highly recommended!
