AUTHOR'S NOTE

Y'llo. Here's a story which continues this alternate universe. Tigui (my cat)
has somehow stumbled onto Mobius by something. (check "Pet for Robotnik?"
for the details.) Now, trapped on this strange planet, Tigui decides to
join the Freedom Fighters. First, though, he must see how the normal everyday
life in Knothole works out. Also, Sonic shows a slight bit of jealousy when
he sees Sally talking with Tigui, and gets the wrong idea. This story is not
much action but gives an in-depth look on Tigui's perspective.

ONE LAST NOTE

The first story 'Pet for Robotnik?' won't be shown right away just yet.
When I first wrote it I was thinking it was just one story then Tigui comes
home. However, I found the story pretty weak at first so I, yeah,
ditched it. Then I got these whole bunch of stories coming to my head and
now I am putting this as the first story. It's kinda like what George
Lucas did with Star Wars, only this time it's the second story
that will be shown first. Anyway, if this story is a success and I get
some e-mails on continuing it, then i'll put the 'prequel' up as well as
the rest of my stories. Oh, by the way, as I go on during this series, I
may ask you guys out there to answer a few questions as to what I should
do next. That's right, the audience gets a say at some things. In my
third story, title will not be shown
for obvious reasons, i'll ask you guys the first question.

TIGUI'S CHARACTER SKETCH

Gender: Male
Species: Domestic cat, American Shorthair
Description: He's a four-lagged cat with white fur on his belly, neck and
mouth. Brown fur on the rest of his body with black streaks. He has green
eyes.
Age: 3 years old
Height and weight: Unknown, but he is smaller than Tails and is very light.
Pros: He is very fast (not like Sonic, but fast), he can jump fairly high
and can be a big help when he's on your side. His claws are extremely
sharp.
Cons: He has a pretty big temper and can get real upset if things are not
to his expectations. Tigui is also very curious, and can often bud
in when you don't want him to.
STORY

Knothole. 7:14 A.M Standard Mobian Time
=============================================================================
It was early in the morning. Sonic takes his warm-up jog, 10 times.
Sally wakes up Tails and they have breakfast. Rotor woke up early and
took some coffee while he works in his garage. Bunnie tries to work up
both her robotic and organic limbs. Antoine, well, who cares what that
loser is doing. Probably looking in the mirror or something. Everyone's
wide awake in Knothole now.
Well, except for a certain cat. Tigui has been sleeping near
his now-favorite tree, quite near the lake of rings. Despite
the Freedom Fighter's kindness to this new stranger, they couldn't
feel happy for him. After all, Tigui just realized that he may
not return to 20th century Earth at all, and that just makes
even the most cold-hearted villian wonder. Tigui, however, is still
optimistic. He still thinks that evantually SOME Mobian, whether
Freedom Fighter or Robotnik, will built another time machine and
somehow Tigui will get to it. Right now, though, that dream
will have to wait.
Tigui wakes up and starts to stretch his limbs. He yawns.
Tigui moves slowly, but surely, to the nearest restaurant-hut.
But before Tigui could jump on the stool, Sonic zooms by and sits on
another stool.
"Hey cook," Sonic said looked hungry after his 50th jog, "gimmie
a plate with 10 chili dogs."
The cook went straight to work when Tigui jumped onto his stool
next to Sonic.
Tigui gives a curious look, "10 chili dogs?" he asked, "And
for breakfast?"
"I know," Sonic gave that confident look, "but i'm trying to
keep myself in gear. Wouldn't wanna pack myself with them when
there's a mission tonight."
"I wonder if i'll EVER undertand you," Tigui said.
The cook brings the plate of chili dogs and Sonic starts
scarfing them down. Tigui looks as Sonic quickly eats them.
"What'll it be?" the cook looks at Tigui.
Tigui, still looking at Sonic, says, "Gimme a DECENT breakfast.
You know, what most Mobians eat, and not what this guy is eating."
The cook starts making the dish.
"You gotta try one of these some day," Sonic said holding his
last chili dog.
"I'm gonna," Tigui said, "not for breakfast, though."
"Your loss," Sonic almost swallowed his chili dog whole.
The cook gives Tigui his 'decent' breakfast.
"Scrambled eggs," Tigui checks his food, "two slices of toast,
some O.J., and three strips of bacon."
"Uh-huh," the cook says, "not very many people order this.
Usually they have cereal at home or what Sonic's eating."
Tigui was stunned, "Chili dogs for breakfast? You gotta be kidding!
I mean, for lunch or supper, yes. But breakfast? It's like having chocolate
ice cream instead of cereal, or milkshakes instead of coffee! What kind
of place is this? The chili dog capital of the world? Next thing you'll
tell me is that you do have chocolate ice cream and milkshakes for
breakfast. Sheesh!"
The cook pretended to ignore Tigui's outburst. Sonic
was done with his plate and now HE was watching Tigui eat. Tigui was
licking the orange juice from the top of the glass.
"If you wanna finish that plate," Sonic said, "you gotta use two
of your paws and the right utensils."
The four-legged cat looked at the now-full hedgehog, "I don't have
hands," he said, "just four legs."
"Try, though," Sonic pointed at the bacon, "pick that up with
your strongest front paw."
Tigui looked at his front paws. Which one, he thought. He remembered
that one time he had a fight, he knocked down his opponent with his....
right, he remembered. Now, to pick it up, he concentrated. It wasn't
easy to do it, considering the bacon strip was bigger than his paw. After
all, he was smaller than the stool he was sitting on. At first, the bacon
couldn't get on. Evantually, though he used his claws to hold it up. Tigui
silently congradulated himself as he scarfed the bacon like any domestic cat
would, holding it, that is.
"Good," Sonic said, "Now pick up the fork over there and use
it to pick up the eggs."
"Ow!" Tigui yelled.
"Wrong end!" Sonic said, "That end's for picking the food up. Hold
the other end and use the fork."
Tigui grabbed on. It was easy since his fork wasn't bigger than his
paw. Once he got hold of it, he used the fork to pick up some of the
scrambled eggs, then, he simply ate the food.
"That's it," Sonic said, "The glass shouldn't be a problem now."
Tigui looked at the glass of orange juice. He knew that it was too
big to hold with one paw, so he decided that he should use both his paws
in a 'hugging' matter and bring the glass to his mouth so he can drink it.
He carefully did so. He spilled some because his mouth wasn't wide, but he
had enough of the drink to suffice.
"Congrads," Sonic said.
"On what?" a familiar voice was behind them.
Tigui turned around to see Princess Sally. Tigui's view on her was
that she was probably the leader of the Freedom Fighters, which he now
knew. She doesn't like the formalities, which was why Tigui TRIED to call
her by her name. Also, he also saw that Sally was somehow 'intimate' with
Sonic, though he never bothered to see how 'intimate' they were.
Although lately he's been watching one of them to see what would
arise. Otherwise, Sally was just as normal as anyone on Mobius.
"Hello, Pri...." Tigui corrected himself quickly, "Sally. Ack,
I better get these right soon."
"Tigui had a class on 'Eating 101'," Sonic smiled a bit. Tigui
wondered if it was because Sonic felt good as a teacher, or whether it was
Sally. The question only stayed in his head for a few seconds.
"I see," Sally said with her arms folded, "Anyway, Sonic, I came
here to remind you of the meeting tonight."
"Already know, Sal," Sonic tapping his head, "me and my speed
are gonna kick some Robuttnik butt."
Tigui turned back around to finish his meal. "Alright Sonic," Sally
continued, "but don't do anything too fancy tonight."
"Sal," Sonic sounded a bit annoyed, "those SWATbutts are too stupid
to even know that I WAS there. It'll be a piece o' cake."
"Yeah, whatever," Sally rolled her eyes back.
Sonic got out of his stool, "Well, time for me to jet, i'll be
checking out on Tails. Gotta juice!"
Sonic was running as Sally yelled, "OK, keep an eye on him, though."
"Sometimes, Sonic, I wish I knew you better," Sally sighed.
Tigui's eyes widened a bit. He put the puzzle on the two together.
Sally didn't notice Tigui when his eyes widened.
Tigui got back to his eating when he heard, "May I sit here?"
Tigui looked at Sally as she was pointing to what was Sonic's stool.
"Go right ahead," Tigui said.
Sally sat down, "How is it going?" she asked.
"Fine," he said, "although I still think that you guys should
eat chili dogs for lunch or supper."
"Oh," Sally said, "You mean Sonic's appetite."
Tigui nodded, "Well, ever since Sonic likes chili dogs, Knothole's
been eating them," Sally went on.
"Is he the hero of some sort?" Tigui asked.
"He's our biggest weapon," Sally said, "just don't tell him that."
"I think he already knows," Tigui said.
"He get's pretty over-confident," Sally said.
"And you like him for that?" Tigui didn't think before he spoke.
Sally was stunned, "Have you decided to join the Freedom Fighters
yet?"
Tigui knew what she was doing, but decided to play along, "Sally,
you know I can't decide until I check on how your every-day lives go."
"We're not here to force you," Sally said, a bit relieved, "I
just want to know if you decided yet."
"You know," Tigui was silently smirking, "if you don't wanna
tell me about Sonic just say so. Changing subjects makes me curious. And you
know what they say about how 'curiousity kills the cat'."
I wonder why, Sally thought to herself.
"You don't have to be angry," Tigui said, "It's just that I want
to find out, that's all. Of course, if you want me to, just say so."
Sally gave up, he's a persistent bugger, she thought.
"You probably hear the rumors in Knothole," Sally finally
spoke.
"No," Tigui said, "not exactly."
"Well, anyway," she said, "it seems that Sonic seems to be so
pre-occupied that he can't even say...."
"I think I get the point," Tigui quickly halted the Princess,
"Why can't you just force it outta...... hmmm...."
"I may not know you much," Sally said, "but it looks like
you have an idea."
"Indeed I do, Sally," Tigui smiled evily, "indeed I do."

Knothole 7:30 A.M
=============================================================================
"Are you sure this will work?" Sally asked. They had
been discussing Tigui's idea.
"I think so," Tigui said, "and even if not, Sonic will
still be in for a surprise."
"Ok," Sally got out of her stool, "but if this doesn't work..."
"Trust me," Tigui said, "it'll work. We'll begin the plan
after the mission."

Meanwhile.... not too far away, in Tails' hut.
=============================================================================
"Are you wondering what they're saying?" Tails asked, watching
Tigui and Sally from a window.
"Nah," Sonic said, relaxing on a couch, "i'm sure Sal's telling
him about our world history."
"It doesn't look like it," Tails said, "Aunt Sally doesn't like
telling history that much."
"What do you mean, littl' bro?" Sonic asked as he looked outside.
Sally and Tigui were smiling like... well, let's just say this may give
someone the wrong idea.
"This is uncool," Sonic, for the first time in a long while,
looked jealous.
"What's uncool, big bro?" Tails had to ask.
"Someone is making a move on Sal," Sonic said, "and it's the new
cat on the block."
Tails was having that "oh no, not that again" look.
"C'mon bro," Sonic held Tails hand, "we're gonna check it out.
You're gonna help me."
"But I..." but before Tails finished, Sonic was already moving
him along for the ride.

Back at the restaurant....
=============================================================================
"Well," Sally said, "I think i'd better be going."
"Good idea," Tigui said, "Sonic may be back by now, and he may
get suspicious. I'll go find some helpers. Which ones, though?"
"Try asking Rotor and Bunnie," Sally said as she left, "they
may help."
"Thanks," Tigui said as he left towards Rotor's garage.
Not knowing to Tigui, someone was watching him.

Rotor's garage 9:00 A.M.
=============================================================================
Rotor Walrus was working on his desk. Ever since Tigui was stuck
on Mobius, Rotor's been trying to develop a time machine. The part that
Sonic brought back from their last adventure (see "Pet for Robotnik")
was very mysterious indeed, even for a machine part. He's been working
on his calculations and other things to find out what this part
was. He described it as a "Shiny stone" in lame terms. However, nothing
came up to help explain what it is, or, what it did.
A knock was heard on his door. Great, he thought, maybe Bunnie
has another short-circuit with her limbs again. He opened the door.
"Oh, hi Tigui," said Rotor.
"Mind if I come in?" Tigui asked.
"Sure. Come right in."
Tigui comes in and sees the desk, "You've been working I see."
"Yep. No luck though."
"Guess it may still take a while, huh?"
"Maybe never."
"Oh yeah, that's what I want to hear."
"Sorry, I gotta be straight-forward though."
"That's OK."
They all paused for a moment. To Tigui, Rotor was the brains behind
the bunch. Though Tigui still didn't like being called 'primitive', (See
"Pet for Robotnik?") he disregarded the remark. After all, first impressions
are mostly wrong. Also, Tigui saw Rotor as 'a big kid'. He hated being under
pressure, and it seems that he would like to stay young. All in all,
Tigui says Rotor's a nervous-looking walrus that doesn't wanna grow up.
Tigui then remembered what he came for, "Uh, Rotor?"
"Yes, Tigui?"
"Me and Sally need your help for something."
"What is it?"
"You'd better be quiet about this."
"Okay."
"Well, it's about..."

A few minutes later....
=============================================================================
A fox comes running in Rotor's garage.
"Sacre-bleu!" Antoine yelled at the two, who were finished
talking.
"What it is now, Antoine?" Rotor said.
"Bunnie iz, how you say, malfunctionne?"
"Oh no, where is she?"
"At ze hut."
"Well, we'd better get there."
Antoine and Rotor leave, along with Tigui, to Bunnie's hut.
Tigui thought to himself, how can someone malfunction? He heard about how
Bunnie was half-roboticized, and that her robotic limbs sometimes
go hay-wire. To Tigui, Bunnie was the quiet one, always talking in that
southern voice of hers. Tigui also felt uneasy about Bunnie. How can
she go through this everyday? He thought. Oh well, at least she still
shows courage, he thought.
He looked at 'Antoilette' (he calls him that now. A cross-over
of Antoine, Antoinette, and toilette.). He also felt a little strange
about him. I mean, he thought, how DID he get that accent anyway?
And why does Sonic call him an Ant? Guess i'll never know, he thought.
When the three got there, Bunnie was stuck on the floor, one
of her legs was elevated higher than the other. She probably lost balance
and fell, Tigui thought. He also saw her arm was very stiff.
"Let's get her to the garage," Rotor said pointing
to Tigui and Antoine.
"I'm too small to pick up anybody," Tigui said, "Antoilette, you help
Rotor."
"Oh great," he said as he helped Rotor, "now they're
refering me to 'ze bathroom."

Rotor's garage 9:36 A.M.
=============================================================================
"Thanks," Bunnie said as she can move limbs again,
"These things were actin' up the past few days."
"Don't mention it," Rotor said feeling rather proud.
"Have they always done that?" Tigui asked curiously.
"Yeah," Bunnie said, "sometimes ah wish ah can get rid of them."
"I'm no scientist," Tigui said, "but I guess all of us have to try."
"Uh, Tigui," Rotor said, remembering, "you said you needed
her help for the plan."
Bunnie's eyes widened, "Now what is the whole ho-hah about you two?"
"Ok," Tigui said, "i'll tell you. But first thing's first.
Antoilette, scoot."
"No way I am mizzing thiz," Antoine said, "tell me."
Tigui sighed, "All right, but remember to keep quiet
about it until we unleash the plan."
The two smiled and said in unison, "All right!"
"Well," Tigui started, "this is how it goes....."

Meanwhile.... near the garage.
=============================================================================
"I can't hear a word they're saying," Sonic said as he saw
the four talking from a nearby window.
"Remember that you thought that Tigui and Sally were..." Tails
was saying nearby.
"I know that," Sonic said, "but he may be up to something more."
He looked at Tails, "Go find out what they're talking about."
"Me?" Tails said, "What do I do there?"
"Just go up to them and ask," Sonic said as he pushed Tails
to the door, "now go."

Back at Rotor's garage
=============================================================================
"I still think that I can take the princess," Antoine said.
"Antoine," Bunnie sounded annoyed, "Ah doubt she has ever
had interest in you and that she'll never will."
"Very well," Antoine still sounded confident, "I doubt this will
work, but I will help anyway."
"Even if it doesn't work," Tigui said, "Sonic is gonna be surprised."
A young voice came from the door, "Hi guys!"
They all turned around to see the two-tailed fox. Tigui opinion
on Tails was about average. He was able to fly, which made Tigui jealous.
However, Tails is just as curious as Tigui is. So Tigui considers Tails
to be a two-tailed flying version of himself.
"Hi Tails," Rotor said in his usual tone.
"What are guys talking about?" Tails asked.
Before Tails asked, Tigui took a quick glimpse out the window. Not
enough for anyone to know, but enough to make him notice some familiar
eyes.
"We were talking about Son..." Rotor was about to continue
when Tigui used his claws to pinch Rotor's leg.
"Ouch!" Rotor knew what Tigui was gonna say next.
"Sorry, Tails," Tigui went, "can't tell you."
"Why?" Tails asked.
"Uh...." Tigui had to think quickly, "because you're too young."
"Am not," Tails gave an angry look, "you're just 3 years old,
remember?"
"I know," Tigui said, "but the content in this conversation
is too gross for you."
"How gross?"
"The one word that will scare you away."
"How can one word...."
"Girls."
Tails had a look of disgust, "Touche," he said as he got moving
outside.

Back outside....
=============================================================================
"Well?" Sonic was impatient as Tails close the door behind him.
"Only got one word," Tails said holding his stomach, "and
I don't like it."
"What is it?" Sonic's eyes widened.
"Girls," Tails looked sickened, "Yuck! I can't believe I mentioned
it."
"I knew it!" Sonic looked more jealous than he thought, more jealous
than I, the author, would know. He again got the wrong idea.
"Maybe you guys should push it aside until after the mission,"
Tails said.
"You're right, lil' bro," Sonic's look turned normal, "i'll
show that cat later."

Back inside.... (switching views makes me so dizzy)
=============================================================================
"Why didn' you tell 'im?" Bunnie looked at Tigui with a 'you better
tell me or else' look.
"I feel so ashamed of not telling him," Tigui looked down for a
moment, "but I had a feeling he was sent here on a recon mission."
"I do not, how you say, understand 'zis," Antoine said trying
to speak properly.
"I just saw Sonic by the window as Tails was walking in," Tigui's
look was dissapointment, "I think I should avoid the hedgehog now that
he's getting suspicious."
"Maybe you can stay at the garage to help me around until the
mission," Rotor said.
"Good idea," Tigui said as he looked up, "Bunnie, tell Sally
that the cat is grounded and he can't go the mission due to
Sonic's suspicion. Antoine (he forgot the usual nickname),
gather the neccessary materials and place them in a good hiding
spot near Sonic's hut. Remember to tell me where they are just before the
mission. Rotor, I hope you're a good cook 'cause i'll be eating here.
Otherwise, order for a take-out. Me, i'll stay here until the mission,
then i'll get the plan ready. Everyone knows what they're doing?"
"I got it all in my head," Rotor said.
"Gotcha, sugah," Bunnie said.
"I will not dissapoint," Antoine said saluting.
"Good," Tigui said smiling, "Operation 'S&S' doesn't commence
until after the mission. Good luck everybody. And, whatever you do, don't
tell ANYONE!"
Everyone left except for Rotor and Tigui.
"Don't worry," Rotor said, "Bunnie and I can keep a secret."
"I'm worried about Antoilette, though," Tigui frowned, "I hope
he can shut his trap until then."
"He thinks it's not gonna work," Rotor said, "but he said that
it will not work by itself. He's too confident it'll fall by itself, so I
doubt he'll say anything."
"I hope you're right," Tigui said, "'cause I don't want a plan
of mines to fail. I can really get mad if it does."

12:00 noon Knothole
=============================================================================
It was lunch time in Knothole. Rotor ordered some chili dogs for
lunch and brought them to his garage. Tigui finally tasted his first chili
dog. He found it to be delicious, but not like Sonic would describe.
Of course, then again, Sonic is the one behind the chili dog trend.
I wonder what's Knothole's second favorite food, he thought as he ate another
one.
Meanwhile, Sonic was at the restaurant-hut that he was earlier in the
morning. The place was jam-packed with fellow Mobians, including Tails,
Bunnie and Sally. Sally was right next to Sonic. She was eating a pretty
normal meal, although Sonic couldn't make out what she was eating.
Definately not a chili dog, he thought as he looked at her. Sally didn't
notice what Sonic was doing, she was concentrating on the mission she planned
on, and the 'plan' Tigui would hatch after. Of course, she kept a low profile
on that so Sonic wouldn't know.
Sonic was thinking. Yes, thinking. Could Tigui really? Nah, he
thought. The cat is just 3 years old, and the conversation with Sally was
probably nothing important. At least I hope it is.
He looked at Sally just for a moment. Sally knew what Sonic
thought of her, he thought, and he knew what she felt. However, that's
all. Maybe it's time I should tell her, he thought. No, not now, he felt
some pain in his heart when he changed his mind.
"Are you OK, Sonic?" Sally finally noticed when Sonic grabbed
his heart in pain.
"It's nothing," Sonic said, "I just need to clear my mind for a
moment." With that, he left.
Sally looked to see that Sonic's plate of chili dogs was not
finished. Something's wrong, she thought as she stopped eating her meal,
since it was finished.

12:05 P.M. Sonic's hut
=============================================================================
Sonic went to his hut looking angry. He found a pillow
nearby and started to punch it.
"Why didn't you...." Sonic started blurting out words that made
no sense as he was punching like crazy. He was so mad he could've
used his spin to tear the pillow into shreds.
Evantually he did. He was so tired from the tantrum he went onto
his couch, lied down and slept.
Meanwhile, outside the hut. Antoine was busy bringing the materials
Tigui needed close to Sonic's hut. He looked in the window and saw the
sleeping hedgehog.
Eep, he thought, I better make 'zis trip a quiet one, non?
Antoine had to carry 3 long pieces of wood on his back.
Not an easy job considering he's not very strong. He teetered back and
forth while carrying them, while trying not to make any noise.
He got to the hiding place, which was near the rear end of the hut, near some
bushes, then...
WHAM!!!!
This awoke Sonic with a start, who now was feeling better after
his tantrum. He rushed to see Antoine fall flat on his face. Fortunately,
the pieces of wood were already in hiding so Sonic couldn't see.
"Yo, Ant," Sonic said, "I heard a big noise from here. What was it?"
Antoine hesitated, ".... A tree fell down, that'z all."
"I don't see no tree fall," Sonic looked around.
"It was a far, big tree," Antoine said, "felt like an earthquake."
"I'll say," Sonic said, "it made you fall on your head. Getting
clumsy, Ant?"
"I'll disregarde 'zat," Antoine brushed himself off and started
to leave, "Good day."
Sonic was still puzzled, a tree fell down that hard, he thought,
yeah, right. Something strange is going on.

7:13 P.M. Knothole (before the mission)
=============================================================================
Things were quiet at Knothole after Antoine's 'fall'. Rotor and Tigui
were trying experiments on the shiny stone they found but to no avail.
Sally was getting ready for the meeting in the war room. Antoine brought
the rest of the supplies to the hiding spot. Sonic was, of course, running
around. Tails, again, was trying to get into the mission but was
turned down by Sally. Lastly, Bunnie managed to tell Sally what happened.
"Tig can't come tonight," she said, "Sonic's been keeping
an eye on him. He got me here to tell ya. He also got Antoine getting
the supplies. He's been staying at Rotor's since."
"I guess we have to wait another day until Tigui can go
on another mission," Sally said as she was going into the war room,
"Ready?"
"Ah always will be," she said smiling.

"Everything iz ready," Antoine said to Tigui.
"Good," he said with a smile, "you sure you didn't tell
Sonic?"
"I kept my mouth shut," Antoine said.
"Well," Tigui looked at him, "you'd better leave with Rotor. The
mission, you know."
"Don't worry," Rotor was at the door leaving, "we'll be in and out
in seconds before the fat guy even blinks."
"You sounded more like zat hedgehog," Antoine said as they left.
"Now to get ready," Tigui said to himself.

8:00 P.M. Knothole (mission)

The Freedom Fighters left for Robotropolis, apparently on another
mission to destroy another factory or something or other. Tigui
was at Sonic's hut. He took out little hooks, designed to hold a piece of
wood, and placed one on each side of the door. Then, he took a nail and
started to nail the hook to the wall. All the neccessary supplies were
in a little toolbox that was in Rotor's garage. After he was done he went to
the nearest window and nailed another hook. Just then, a familiar whoosh
was coming nearer.
Oh no, Tigui thought, Tails!
He picked up the small toolbox and ran to the nearest bush,
and into hiding.
Tails came by flying his tails and landed near Sonic's hut.
Apparently to relax himself and to get a little steamed because
he couldn't go.
He turned his back to the wall and leaned on it.
"Ouch!" he said as he turned around to see a hook.
Why would it by there, he thought. Just then a figure went
behind him and made some noise.
"Ahhhhh!!!" Tails yelled, only to see Tigui.
"Guess you found a part of my plan," he said in a dissapointed
voice.
"Plan?" Tails said scratching his head, "I don't quite understand."
"Let's just say this is one way for your Aunt Sally to get
Sonic's attention."
"Huh?" Tails was dumbfounded, "You mean you and Aunt Sally weren't.."
"What?" Tigui's head went back, "Was that why Sonic was getting
suspicious?"
"Yes," Tails nodded.
"Well," Tigui sighed, "since you found out that i'm building a plan,
you can at least help me by putting these hooks on."
"I still don't get it," Tails said as Tigui gave him a hook,
"how will this plan work?"
"You'll see," Tigui said as he went back to work, "just PLEASE
don't tell Sonic."
"Ok," Tails went to the next window to nail the hooks.

A few minutes later....

The two were finished, and Tigui went into his toolbox and took
out a little piece of paper and gave it to Tails.
"When Sonic gets back," Tigui said, "give him this, and
keep him preoccupied for at least an hour."
"Why?" Tails said.
"So that me, Sally, Bunnie, Rotor and... Antoilette get ready."
"All right," he said, "but now what are we gonna do?"
"You are staying put," Tigui said, "i'm off to check to see if
their mission's going smoothly."
"You crazy?" Tails stopped him for a moment, "It's dangerous!"
"I can run fast," he said, "not like Sonic, but fast enough
to avoid those SWATBots. I'll be back."
Tigui ran off. "I hope so," Tails said looking at where Tigui
left.

8:07 P.M. Robotropolis
=============================================================================
Explosions could be heard from inside Robotropolis as Tigui
ran through the entrance. He ran over to an alley which was close to where
the Freedom Fighters were. He climbed up a ladder onto an old building.
From there, he could see what was going on.
Many SWATBots were chasing Sonic, shooting at him, missing, of
course. The others were sneaking into the factory with an explosive device.
There's an old plan, Tigui thought.
Just then he heard a robotic voice behind him, "Halt! Intruder!"
Tigui knew it was a SWATBot, fortunately just one.
I could deal with that pile of...., something sick came to Tigui's
head. He had a gross idea.
He turned around quickly and pounced on the SWATBot, using his claws
to destroy the weapons it was carrying, he made absolute sure he didn't
destroy the camera it was carrying. This particular SWATBot was actually
a bit like those SpyGlobes Robotnik makes. So you can probably call
it a SWATGlobe or something.
(the next part is a bit gross, so beware)

Back at Robotnik's place, he looked at the video cameras, cursing
at them. He then saw a familiar face.
"It's that cat with the bad name," he said to Snively.
"Looks like he's with the Freedom Fighters now," Snively rolled
his eyes.
*static* HEY ROBUTTNECK! Tigui's face was at the camera.
I GOT A MESSAGE FOR YA! THIS IS WHAT I THINK OF YOUR ROBOTS! *static*
Just then, Robotnik and Snively were disgusted to see what Tigui
did next. Tigui turned around, lifted his butt, and shitted on the camera.
*static* REMEMBER TO CLEAN UP! Tigui was laughing as he left.
Robotnik's face went red, "Attention SWATBots in nearest sector,
go to south-west sector and eliminate the Freedom Fighters. Priority one
on Sonic and....."
"Tigui," Snively reminded him.
Robotnik repeated the name and looked at Snively madly.
Bad timing, he thought.

Tigui knew he had to move it, he climbed back down and looked around.
He saw a group of SWATBots at one end of the alley.
He went up to them and said, "Hey, you moving toasters, if you
can shoot lasers, surely you can make toast. I'm feeling a bit hungry."
"Intruder alert, identified," of the SWATBots said, "Priority
one."
Uh oh, Tigui turned and ran out of the alley. I never expected
being tailed by 15 SWATBots just because I had to.... go, Tigui thought
as he ran into the scene where Freedom Fighter activity was at.
"Tigui?" Sonic said as he looked in that direction, while avoiding
the lasers.
The other Freedom Fighters were all running out of the factory.
"We have a minute to get out of here," yelled Sally as Sonic went
by, "We'll be riding on Dulcy, you get Tigui outta there."
Sonic had to help Tigui. Sonic turned around and ran aside Tigui.
"You know you could've came with us before," he said.
"I was busy," Tigui went.
"No time to buzz, cause we're outta here!" As he said that, he took
a ring from his backpack, held on to Tigui as he raised the ring.
An eerie glow went around Sonic, Tigui was nearly blinded by the
light. Then, right before his eyes, everything went fast, REALLY fast.
"What......" Tigui was speaking slowly as everything looked
like a blur, "the.......heck?"
"Not used to super-speed, eh?" Sonic said as he was getting near
the entrance where the Freedom Fighter took to get to Robotropolis.

"They're getting away, sir," Snively said.
"Block the entrance!" Robotnik yelled at his servant and the
SWATBots at the same time, "Don't let those two out!"

Sonic came to a stop in an alley. He peaked around the corner
to see the entrance blocked by a lot of SWATBots.
"This'll be a piece of cake," Sonic was cracking his knuckles.
"I doubt that very much," Tigui looked around to see as well,
"There's like a million out there. You'll be creamed!"
"You're starting to sound like Sal now," Sonic said,
"but I think you're right."
Just then, out of nowhere, a cold breath flew out and froze about
3/4 of the SWATBots.
Tigui looked at awe, "Well, our path will be much easier now.
But how did that happen?"
Sonic pointed up to Dulcy, flying with the other Freedom
Fighters, "That's how."
A dragon? Tigui thought, but how in the world did they
find one? Then again, I am not on Earth. Mobius is too strange
for me. Power rings, super-speed, dragons? What next?
Sonic and Tigui managed to plow through the rest of the
SWATBots and escaped to Knothole. The factory blew up
and Robotropolis has had a black-out due to shortened supplies
and damage done by the Freedom Fighters.

8:37 P.M. Knothole
=============================================================================
Back in Knothole the casualty reports came in, very few
fortunately, and there was a debreifing in the war room. At the end
Sally halted everyone and asked Tigui a question.
"Tigui," she said, "since you've seen how our everyday
lives have been the past few days. Have you now made your decision?"
Tigui stood up high, "I have, your... I mean Sally."
Everyone chuckled. He was about to say 'Your highness'
by accident.
"And," she said.
"I have decided to join your group," everyone was about
to cheer, "on one condition. That one day, you people may help
me get home. Not now, maybe never, but soon I hope you may help.
Also, I may volunteer for a mission, never forced. I may not be
your 'biggest weapon' like a certain hedgehog I know,
but I will do anything I can to help. I hope you may
accept this offer."
A moment of silence went, then a sentence came out.
"You are hereby accepted," she said, "on your terms.
Congradulations."
A round of applause and cheers went about, and the
crowd was dismissed after. Everyone left except for Sally and
Tigui.
"Ready?" he said.
"Always will be." she said.

8:50 P.M. Knothole
=============================================================================
After Sonic was pre-occupied long enough by Tails,
Sonic recieved the letter which Tigui gave to Tails earlier.
It reads:
"Dear Sonic,
Please meet me in your hut so we can talk.
I need your help for something.
Your pal,
Tigui"
"This may be a good time to find out what's
going on with that cat," Sonic said.
"You still think that.." Tails was refering to Sonic's
jealousy during the morning.
"Yep," he said, "now I gotta go. See ya lil' bro."
"See ya," Tails waved as Sonic left.
"Better be ready Tigui," Tails said to himself, "'cause
here he comes."

"Is everyone ready?" Tigui said to Rotor, Bunnie and
Antoine.
"Ready," they all said in unision.
Tigui turned around and jumped to the window.
If you're picturing this as a TV show, the view will be just on Tigui
and is outside not looking in the hut.
"Don't you think this plan is a little forceful?" Sally asked
inside the hut. (can't see her)
"Maybe," he said, "but if that hedgehog really does like
you, he wouldn't really notice."
Just then, Tigui's eyes widened, "That'll catch his attention."
"You think so?" she said.
"Trust me," he smiled a bit, "if it catches my eye it will
certainly catch his."
Just after that, a sound was coming closer and closer to
the hut.
"Uh oh," he said, "everyone to their positions."

Sonic ran to the hut, fortunately he didn't see the hooks
Tigui and Tails put on earlier. He saw no one around his hut.
"Tigui must be inside," he said.
Sonic goes to the door, puts his right hand on the doorknob
and turns it. (if you haven't noticed, it's going in slow-motion)
He starts to open the door. Tigui and the others, who were hiding
in their spots, jump up and prepare to spring their part of the plan.
(speed returns to normal) Sonic comes in and closes the
door, not noticing a noise coming from the door a few seconds later.
He noticed the lights were dim. The windows were closed. He tried
to open the door. It's jammed, he thought. He then heard a voice.
"Hello Sonic," the voice said.
Sonic was both confused and dumbfounded when
he heard the sound. It wasn't Tigui. The voice sounded too
different to be Tigui's. He silently gasped. No, he thought,
it couldn't be....
He slowly turned around to see a table with two lit
candles. Next to it, was Sally, who was in a beautiful blue dress.
She smiled at him.

"Well," Tigui said to the others after they barricaded the door,
"that's that."
"We can't leave them in there the rest of the night," Rotor
said.
"Exactly," he said, "that's why one of us will stay here the
night and open the door after, oh, about a few hours."
"Ok," Bunnie said, "sounds good, but ah can't do the job,
ah got midnight watch."
"Then I will do it," Antoine said, "i'm wide awake."
"Very well," Tigui said, "just don't crash the party
until about 11:00, OK?"
"You do not need to remind me," he said, "I will
stand guard."
"Good," Tigui said, "now it's all up to them now. (yawns)
I'm tired, i'll see you guys in the morning."
"See ya," the three said as they all went in different
directions.

9:00 P.M. Knothole
=============================================================================
All was quiet in Knothole. The mission was a great success,
and Tigui's plan has been hatched.
I wonder what they are doing in there, Tigui thought as he
went back to his favorite tree, probably something even I shouldn't
be watching. He chuckled a bit. That wasn't the only thing he was
happy about. He was now a Freedom Fighter, ready to kick
Robotnik in the.... rear. Even better, he probably helped
rekindle a relationship that would still be on the same
stage if nothing was done. Even though he probably shouldn't
bud in. Too late, he thought, i'm just too nosey.
Tigui last thoughts were jumbled up as he went
into a dreamless sleep.
