Akademeia is an idea of a school of free philosophical thought. In the classic sense, it would not be a school at all. And the concept of free philosophical thought in this case is not as absent of reason as it may sound. Christian, academic, existentialist philosophers are not welcome to the school. i am not interested in philosophical theories for the sake of themselves, but for the sake of learning. Elevation.

There are different kinds of people on this planet, and therefore not all the people should live a life that is the same. There are those made of ordinary soil and iron, and there are those made of gold and other precious elements. "When people of lower level start to suspect the existence of better people, there is great danger!" i want to see judeo-christianity destroyed. Democracy along with capitalism crushed and equality shoved down the drain as unnatural.

The society today is far from ideal, and only the ideal situation should be accepted. No compromises. In the end, the school will aim to build a new society. A healthy one this time. Natural one. The nature of men must not be disregarded. To quote Socrates, "what a lot of things i do not need!" Our society is built on excess, the new one will be built on moderation. Anyone who has read Plato's Republic knows the outlines of the new society; however, even Plato had a lot of ideas that can now, after over 2000 years of investigating, be discarded. Love is one of the things that Plato disregards. But it being the most powerful feeling (along with hate) in the universe, why should philosophers disregard it?

Philosophers must not give up love. It is the essence. Without love nothing can be constructed. Yes, that which is bad can be destroyed with hate, but nothing will overtake it without love. For example, Plato thought that philosophers must not love any child more than the others, but i do not think it is needed for philosophers know, after all, that death is not negative. It is a revelation, not a vanishing point. Therefore, why would a philosopher be more protective of the life of his own child than another one?

Well. These are some of the thoughts this school will be based on. There will not be teachers or lectures or classes in the prevailing sense. Teachers are merely philosophers who are to discuss with the students who will be philosophers. Classes are only gatherings to discuss thoughts. An entrance exam would be something like an iq test (intelligence is overrated and iq-tests are no good, but pragmatism should not be forgotten--anyone wise is bound to have an iq exceeding the masses) combined with an interview.

Finance for the school is a question that is open. Also, i have no ideas at all about how to get a license for a school like this. i am short of people who could be dedicated to this as much as i am.
