She is
a champion ten-pin-bowler. At age 14, with 58 trophies altogether, she
bowled against more experienced 18 year-olds and made it to the NSW state
team as a reserve.
Fe, her
mother, who was my friend from the NCSO statistical manpower training days
way back in the mid-70s, described her as 'sports-mad'.
Lizzie
and I both like to take the more daring rides at amusement parks!
Here are some quotes from Lizzie's latest letter:
"I did get a chance to visit your website! It's fantastic! Although, I think you should have more photos in the art galary section, however, I did like the beautiful photo of the deer. Did you write the poems yourself?" . . .
. . . By the way, I told everyone at school about it,and their eyes almost popped out, because no-one, except me, knows anyone who has their own website."
"Guess
what!? I made another lane record at the ten-pin-bowling centre! Also,
I went horse-riding all weekend at Ballina. I love horses, do you?"
Here's Lizzie at 14.
