The Latest Edition to My Family

BALDRICK

Baldrick is a little foundling kitten who has joined my family. When I was in Florida visiting Joe and Floyd the hurricane in September, my friend Jane contacted me. Her neighbor had found 3 kittens on a trail near their home and she wondered if I was interested in the one remaining kitten. The neighbor was going to take it to the local shelter if they didn't find a home for it within the week time limit they had set. Of course I said yes. So Jane picked him up for me and met me at the airport with the little mewling bundle of fur and claws.

He was soooo tiny at first, he cried and cried. The vet suggested kitten milk supplement, so I bottle fed him for a few days. The poor little guy was so hungry that after his first bottle he stopped mewling for the first time since I had gotten him.

Grandpa even loves him... and I quote. "You know little Baldwin (my father always calls him that) I really don't like cats, But you sure are cute." He said this after playing with Baldrick and a cat dancer for almost 2 hours.

Baldrick and his big sister Bella

Bella and Baldrick have bonded.
I can't imagine one without the other.

"What are you doing in that box Baldrick?"

Look at how cute I am
