This web-site, K the K, is to celebrate the 6th anniversary of the K-Foundation Tate/Turner Prize art award of 1993. You will find exclusive photos of the event in the gallerys along with further photos from the career of Bill Drummond and Jimmy Cauty in their various forms.
Personally coffee table kleptomania, fan worship and psycofantia have never appealed to me. My view of the KLF and their various operations and collaberations is that they herald the end of an era and the heralding of a new one!
If we look at the Popular Music Environment today we see that it is in a worse state creatively than it has ever been "EVER"! Yes that ILLUMINATI play thing known as the music business, has run out of steam we might as well call the music of the day "Regurgi Pop" as it all seems to sound like music buy numbers, in other words you've heard and seen it all before. Just as well then that the KLF disbanded when they did and carried out the various post KLF activities that transpired in the ensuing years.
This site K the K is about the impact of this organization that goes beyond what I call coffee table kleptomania and psychofantia, but to the deeper reaches of the collective Human Destiny and Konsciousness. Pertinant questions about the K-foundation are "Why did they burn a Million?"
