portraits are always in style, however, portraits of
children in an informal setting are also wonderful. Children are a whole lotta fun to photograph, or they are a real pain. The trick to good child portraiture is having a good repoire with children. For example, treat them like real people instead of like children. If all else fails, there is always bribery.
