MAKKAH MUKARRAMA
 

This is the purest part of the earth. This is the place which is chosen by Almighty Allah (GOD) for His HAR`M. In Holy "Quran" it is called  "BA-BAKKATUL MUBARKA". This part of the earth is described in other religious books also, like Bible. etc.

it was a rough and colourless place which was covered by black mountains. There was neither any source of water nor any type of bushes. No body, could think about life but Almighty Allah chose this place, and now, it is a beautiful, modern city, which colours and lights are indescribable. It is called "UM-MUL QARA" which means the mother of all cities.

Due to respect and purity, there is no Airport in Makkah but in Jeddah, which is one hour drive away has two International Airports and Jeddah is the first destination for the pilgrims. Around the mosque a number of modern hotels and apartments are available for stay of pilgrims. In Hajj and during Ramazan rates are very high but negotiable whereas, in other months rates are very low and rooms are easily available. A number of international telephone booths are available around Makkah Mosque. computerized public call offices are also there. From  midnight to Salat-ul-Fajr, discounted rates on International calls are applied.

The main bus terminus is situated near to Bab-e-Fahad (One of the gate of Masjid-ul-Haram) where from government buses (Sabtaco) are available round the clock for Madina-e-Munawwara and other cities of Saudi Arabia.
 
 

MASJID -UL- HARAM

        1 .  This is the Greatest mosque of the Universe where Allah blesses one lac times more of One Salat (Prayer) than other places / mosques.

        2 .  In the middle of this mosque, there is KABBAT-ULLAH, which is the QIBLA ( Direction of  Muslims for Prayers) of Muslims.

3 .  There are only three mosques in the world where the Prophet MUHAMMAD (S. A. W.) said to come specially for Salat (Prayer). Out of these three, First one is Masjid -ul- Haram.

Out view of Haram4 .  This mosque is a unique model of construction. It is so big, millions of  faithfuls may gather here in the same time. Sound system is so effective, that a man does not feel himself far from "IMAM"  Lighting system is incredible, no one can realize when sun sets and artificial lights replace it.

5 .  There are 95 gates of Masjid -ul- Haram, out of which 5 are main gates.

6 .  In Masjid -ul- Haram, there is a Centrally Air Conditioning system.

7 .  Lifts and escalators are installed for upper level and for the roof. A basement is also built. Whole the Mosque is fully carpeted and thousands of  cold Zam Zam coolers are kept very systematically throughout the mosque which double its attraction. Out of Haram newly constructed floor around the mosque has increased the capacity of faithfuls to offer prayer. This floor is the model of unique construction. Modern bathrooms and washrooms are built out side Haram which may be used by thousands of pilgrims at a time.

8 .  Main five gates of Masjid -ul- Haram are
                            -    BAB -e- MALIK ABDUL AZIZ
                            -    BAB -e- FATEH
                            -    BAB -e- SALAM
                            -    BAB -e- UMRA
                            -    BAB -e- FAHAD (The Newest Gate)
 
 

KABBATULLAH

1 .  It is a square shaped building, situated in centre of  Masjid-ul-Haram. All the Muslims of the world perform their Salat (prayer) facing towards Kaba.

2 .  The continuos "TAWAF" of people is really wonder of whole world. Rain, sun, storm never prevents people to Tawaf of KabatUllah.

3 .  Firstly It was built by angels and then syedna Adam {Allaihi Salaam} (The First Man on The World And The Prophet of Allah) constructed It.

4 .  Lastly Syedna IBRAHIM (Allaihi Salaam) and his son ISMAIL (Allaihi Salaam) reconstructed It as angels of Allah pointed out the foundation of original KABA - "BAIT -UL- ATEEQ"

5 .  It is said that the Kaba which was firstly constructed by angels has been lifted to the Seventh Sky by Almighty Allah and It is still there. This KABA is called "BAIT -UL- MA`MOOR".  When the last and beloved Prophet MUHAMMAD (S. A. W.) went over skies in MERAJ Night, He (S. A. W.) met with IBRAHIM (Allaihi Salaam) who was sitting with the wall of "Bait-Ul-Mamoor".
