Taken in Israel 1940's, the Owitchs were a Jewish Hungarian or Romanian family, and the photo appeared in the Time-Life Growth volume during the early 1960's. They were brothers and sisters (the product of a single dominant gene). Turtle also mentions that they had survived Nazi medical experiments during World War II.
