My
Photographic Equipment |
For my pics I usually use
Nikon, Leica M and
Hasselblad equipment.
I have three bodies:
F4S, F90X & FE+MD-12. I have been using Nikon equipment during several years
and I can say that my photos changed since I started to use my Nikons. Why? I don't
really know but that's true. Maybe it's because the pro feeling that the Nikon
cameras transmit. Anyway here you have a brief reference about my lenses &
cameras. I also have a couple of flashes: SB-24 & SB-26 plus a quantum
battery.
AF 16

The classic wide lens, everybody
should have at least on, really useful for press & travel pics |
AF 24 f:2,8 D |
Cover the
space between the 28 and the 20, really useful if you make travel
& people pics |
AF28 f:2,8 |
I don't like this lens but it's because I don't
like any 28mm lens, but I have to say that it's quite compact & useful for
travel pics |
AF 35 f:2 |
Nice lens, it
the cheap option to the Leica world , put this lens in you Nikon and you
will feel like the classic photographers |

AF-S 17-35

AF 28-85

A Dog, somebody
love it, somebody hate it but I have to say that it was my first Nikon
lens |
AF 80-200
f:2,8 D |
Just "the lens", my favorite for traveling & press pics |
AIS 50 f:1,4 |
High quality
lens, secondhand ones quite cheap |
AIS 105 f:2,5 |
The classic
portrait lens, My favorite for studio portraits |
AIS 400 f:2,8 |
Huge lens,
about 6 kg, but all quality, mainly for sports not for traveling |
I have a couple of bodies,
M6 & M3 single stroke, I'm a really fan of Leica but I have to say that
sometimes I miss my Nikons as well. For me Leica means mainly B&W, for
slides I prefer the SLR because the metering is better.
Summilux 35
f:1,4 pre-ASPH |
Not so sharp
wide open, some fog problems, but light & compact |
Summicron 50
f:2 |
Last version,
sharp, so so sharp, one of the best Leica lenses |
Summicron
90 f:2 |
Heavy &
high quality, I don't use it so much, not easy to focus |
Elmar 50 f:3,5 |
40 years old
lens, nice quality, collapsible one, so so compact. |
I have just one body, the
501c, mechanic and so reliable, I use the pentaprism PME90, so useful if you are
making "on location" pics.
Distagon 50
f:4 |
One of the
best choices for landscapes & interiors |
Planar 80
f:2,8 |
I you can have
only one lens thins is the best option |
Sonnar 150
f:4 |
Nice for
portraits & glamour shots. |
Just one remark
about medium format. If you are not going to make copies bigger than 30x40 cm don't
try to afford medium system format, it's so expensive and you will get not so
much more quality, and the slides projector it really expensive, the scanner for
medium format is expensive as well, not a good choice for amateurs.
Anyway if you have
any questions, do not hesitate to contact me by mail.
